yeah - he still blocked over a shot and grabbed over 6rebs in his 20mpg last year.

Not talking about Blatche...I couldn't give a shit about that guy. I'm talking about adding a guy from SL, a young FA in their low 20s that fits the bill, someone cheap...Even Earl Barron is bigger and a good 3-4 yrs younger. I dunno man -- I hope I'm wrong and this guy has something left...They just love pushing the envelope with these guys that are on the downside...Get some more friggin' youngsters in here for Christ's sake..
Im very confused? I dont know what kind of team we are trying to put together. How does Brand fit in with the pieces we have. This team should be worrying about finding a competent PG more then anything else right now

I hope they don't use the 3 mil exception on him..

Brand would fit very well. His mid range jumper is MONEY and he a good defensive rebounder and a very good offensive rebounder. Has shown the ability to block and alter shots too. Can't expect Bargs to bang against the likes of David West down low. Depending on the matchups this would be a great pickup.

not for the MLE it isnt this team has 1 PG. The positive though is he wont get more then 2 years

I knew that (used to your posts by now 
), just wanted to point it out because I had high hopes for Sweets too. We too often OVERVALUE our rooks while undervaluing the vets.
