Andrea Bargnani is a better player than Danilo Gallinari. While Gallo will spend most of
the rest of his career on injured reserve Bargnani will light it up in New York.
Uh oh! There are some people who are literally in love with Gallo here. I'm sure they are going to root for Gallo over Bargs now JUST because you posted this!
If he is anywhere near as good as Gallo was while he was here, I will be elated. To have that kind of player backing up Melo, instead of leading the team, can only help us.
Regarding the injuries, Gallo had been good up to that last injury (and really his only other injury was when he first got here with the back - which really affected his game).
Bargs' injuries have been more frequent, so let's not spit into the wind here.
I do think the Bargs trade is a chance worth taking. Too much talent there and he just needs a Vince Carter like change of scenery.
I should hope so. Gallo will be getting DNPs for the majority of the season.
On second thought, Gallo still probably won't hurt his team as much as Bargs does.
