So far Melo has not said anything. Amare really screwed things up. We are stuck for 2 years and Melo ain't getting any younger. This is the perfect time for another ABA basketball League. Where the sky is the limit in spending. I can see the Knicks opting to that League. The Knicks is the richest basketball team in the league and we are hand cuffed.

Put it this way MDA was trying to make MElo an all arounder. Not just a one dimensional high volume shooting scorer.

WHAT I FINd funny is how people point to and glorify carmelo's performance in the olympics vs the likes of Angola and powerhouses like Antarctica and sri lanka, as shining moments.. what they never acknowledge is that they were running MDA's offense and MDA was on the coaching staff.... yet for some reason it was MDA's fault carmelo went into sabotage mode in NY.... go figure..

Melo doesn't "DO" ball movement! I'd he did, MDA would probably still be here, along with Lin. Can't win the Scoring Title with ball movement. What's the matter with you?

First off, having MDA still here wouldnt exactly be a good thing.
Second - are you saying Lebron and Durant dont move the ball? They both won scoring titles.

Please don't put Melo in the same sentence as LeBron, or Durant. Those guys are way better all around players, and are coach able! Not saying MDA being here would've been a good thing, but when he was trying to teach ball movement to Melo, Melo didn't want to have anything to do with it and felt HIS way is the best way! UNCOACHABLE!!! Melo wins scoring titles with the expense of TEAM ball. Those other 2 guys don't do that, especially LeBron. You have to respect his passing game too.

MDA nowadays gets hire by owners that don't get him the players that fit his system. LA hires MDA then picks up Howard? Huh??? And then everyone is "SHOCKED" it didn't work out! LOL!

And you know the inner workings of Melo how? Based on what Berman and SAS tell you in the papers? LOL. If you watched the games at that time, Melo was used as a Point Forward by MDA. It didn't work. This is the same MDA who did not use Lin until he absolutely had no other option on essentially the last day of Lin's non-guaranteed contract. The same MDA who often pouted during post game interviews and then quit on his team in the middle of the year. The same MDA who seems to be having similar issues with players in LA who "don't fit".

MDA is getting a bad rap. MDA was trying to instill winning in Melo by making him play point forward. He was trying to teach Melo to trust his teammates by passing to them. He was trying to get Melo to score in different ways not just posting and isolation ball. MDA was trying to teach him the importance of quick decisions instead of pounding the rock. Put it this way MDA was trying to make MElo an all arounder. Not just a one dimensional high volume shooting scorer.

WHAT I FINd funny is how people point to and glorify carmelo's performance in the olympics vs the likes of Angola and powerhouses like Antarctica and sri lanka, as shining moments.. what they never acknowledge is that they were running MDA's offense and MDA was on the coaching staff.... yet for some reason it was MDA's fault carmelo went into sabotage mode in NY.... go figure..

You do know MDA got booted off the Olympic team, right? That's how much they treasure his offense...

We need to become a team that moves away from the ISO garbage play. We have too many players that have to have guys give them the ball and clear out. If Melo played with Billups and got to the WCF(many feel this was his best all-around season as he learned to play more without the ball and on the other side of the ball) then he surely can play with Rondo and not falter.

I'm glad you're not in our front office influencing decisions that's for sure.

MDA never wanted Melo. Playing Melo at point forward was simply dumb. "Hey Melo stand at the 3 point line on the wing" Seriously only MDA would consider two big men to be a liability. He turned Pao into a jump shooting perimeter player. MDA cannot instill winning into anyone not named Nash.

We were one of the top offensive teams in the league with Ray Felton and Toney Douglas at the point before Melo! Granted our DEFENCE left much to be desired, so what do we do? Trade away everything and get that juggernaut powerhouse defensive stud name Melo and then blame MDA for the whole thing failing...smh!

But even with that being said, I still would love to have him, he does enough other thing to over look his shooting woes

What pressure is building? Melo should know damn well that we would be the last team that Ainge would send Rondo to. I also see Rondo being sent to his buddy in Houston McCale. The only reason why he sent Garnett and Pierce to Brooklyn is to do everything and anything to hurt the Knicks. So we shall see. You can only play 5 players at a time on the court.
