A'mare will come off the bench...stop talking about v his contact. He will serve as an adequate back up that will sometimes show flashes of his former self.
Bargnani will play the way he's capable and probably average 12-14 points per game. Some dunks and jumpshots. Everything else is gravy.
Shumpert and Felton will start the majority of the season together in the backcourt.
Jr Smith scoring will drop because the rest of the teams scoring will go up. Still will give us 12-14 a game.
Everyone minutes will be down, production will be up. Defense will be better. Everyone will be healthier.
Knicks will win 50+ games and go to the conference finals
All this without making any more roster moves.
Relax bitches....we will be fine
nothing wrong with drinking the kool-aid. you kind of have to as a fan of the knicks

with that said, 50+ games will be tough to achieve. i think everything went right for y'all last year and you got to 54. i think this year, there is more pressure and less leadership from the point (as of today's roster).
plus marv is a super knicks homer and i want him to suffer.

All of the Knicks' backup bigs went down. Amare, Sheed, Camby. Prigs still learning. Shump for half a season and didn't hit stride until April. Martin didn't appear til late. Cope didn't get minutes until end. Novak regressed, Kidd faded. Brewer died after a month.
Knicks certainly hit stride for first 2 months, but it was slow decline after that.
Lots of room for improvement towards 50+ wins.

Great call. I am expecting a big season from Bargnani and a breakout season from Shumpert. I think Bargnani will average 17-18 ppg and 5-6 rebs and shoot the ball well. I think Shumpert will begin his breakout to borderline stardom as a lockdown defender and put up Igoudala numbers on offense. A lot to be excited about.

Everything went right? We were one of the most injury-riddled teams in the league and never had a healthy Stoudemire, Shumpert, as well as big injuries to Felton, Chandler, and Melo throughout the season. We had more starting lineup combinations then i can even count and never had a consistent rotation. Yet still won 54 games.
Tyson should be fully recovered from his hysterectomy so you can expect 10/9 and barely a block a game with slightly less minutes.

Add Flu Tyson to the list. Between his wrist, his neck, and well the flu, he did a big fade on us. Hope for health for this guy in 13-14.
The Departed
Marcus Camby - Jerome Jordan
Chris Copeland - CJ Leslie
Kurt Thomas - can Gunwald at least make a respectable offer to Kenyon Martin?
Rasheed Wallace - summer league discovery
Jason Kidd - Tim Hardaway Jr or a lead guard to be named Shumpert

must be tough to go for Fool-Aid when you've been drinking Haterade for so long

Went right:
1. Boston (many feared) fell apart.
2. Sixers year before had been very improved, last year the Bynum trade killed them.
3. Wiz by seasons end was a pretty good team, but first half were doormats and was an easy win.
4. We caught Heat with pants down early in season twice.
5. JR in contract year stepped up in regular season.
6. Kidd played way above expectations in the first two months. Shump came back to finish season strong.
7. Cope.
8. Indy faultered giving us 2nd seed.
9. Rose never returned.
10. Toronto was improved but never played to it.
11, Nets did not play up to on paper talent.
12 Kmart gave us a huge unexpected boost!
13. Sheed helped us win some games we might not have early on!
13. The Brotherhood of man between JR, Melo and Woodson was a nice Bromance!
Every sesaon has its ebbs and flows but ours to some extent worked out better despite injuries to role players. DJ is right that things worked well and one cannot count them going forward.
Its possible next years knick team is better but improvements by others will make some wins toughter to obtain.
Boston, philly and Toronto might be easy wins but Wiz, bobcats, Clev and Chicago get better.
Nets are better too. How much? Don't know, but they are.
relying on amare + sheed + camby is a recipe for suckess.
kidd + jr smith played well above anybody's expectations. every team has to deal with a shumpert type injury. all parts functioned. caught alot of teams by surprise - including the entire fanbase.
We traded 3 draft picks for Bargs and asking for 12-14 points. Let me ask u something if u gave Copeland 28 minutes do u think he could score 12-14 points?

Geez, when you put it like that

I see no Haterade here..I see you drinking Powerless Ade and many fans feel this way
or
Maybe you're drinking Jacksquat Daniels because that's all things amount to here in the end

Well put, and Cope would play better (or less bad) defense.

I prefer Cope, but he's not giving any more on d than bargnani is. At least bargnani is a 7ft terrible defender.

Keeping Cope doesn't get rid of Novak's HORRIBLE contract.
