Tell ya what -- he wouldn't be terrible man. Definitely a presence down low...Shows some soft touch with the jumper in this vid:
Similar player to Mozgov maybe. This guy might be better.
gunsnewing@ 8/1/2013 12:01 PM
I think he reminds me more of pekovic lumbering mountain of a man. Inmoveable. Would've been useful vs Indy last yr but Woodson wouldn't have used him probably

Right.. Can def. see that. Hey man -- I give the Knicks credit. We're looking in the right places for additional talent.

Sheesh

Is everything about how Mike Woodson uses his roster improperly?
How many Knicks coaches have improperly coached their way to 54 wins over the past two decades?
If Grunwald can sign Haddadi and Uhrih, he is a magician.
gunsnewing@ 8/1/2013 12:40 PM
Playoffs I could care less about the regular-season at this point
misterearl@ 8/1/2013 12:48 PM
gunsnewing - other than the redundant posts about how Chris Copeland was just another brother held back by the man, how exactly did Mike Woodson use his roster improperly?
Indiana was larger up front and Hibbert dominated Chandler.
It wasn't that deep.

gunsnewing - Bringing up The Atlanta Hawks is like bringing up the Atlanta Braves to describe Joe Torre.
Your one word reply needs some substance. You are hereby granted a do-over. Before you add substance, please consider that The Answer Man lived in Atlanta and caught the Hawks up close. Their roster was not underutilized. They were immature and lacked a center. Josh Smith has gone on record to admit his role in being stubborn and immature. Marvin Williams? The Invisible Playoffs Man Joe Johnson? Sheesh. Other than that, please go ahead...
... make my day.

I think you are describing the same problems Melo and JR had. Melo played like Joe Johnson and JR was immature like Josh Smith. And the Knicks lacked a center.

Get this guy !!! He is perfect for the aftermath of Chandler hanging out with his children while they have a cold !!
At 0:33 is exactly what we need more of on this team. This guy is much better than Chandler on O(just about everyone is, no biggie) but his D is superb, I can see him STARTING at C for us during the flu season.
Vmart@ 8/2/2013 8:31 AM
I would like to get this guy so we can say Haddadi dadi we like to party.

that was a clean pick and was not dirty at all, poor call by the officials to protect "THE KING"
smackeddog@ 8/2/2013 11:12 AM
I think writers should only start publishing 'Knicks are NOT interested in player x', it would save time.

Please, there is not a regular or advanced stat that lists Novak as the best defender on the Knicks.
BTW, this guys sucks I rather have Earl Barron.

Yep, there seems to be a lack of ability to set good picks on tje team. The only one who was able to set a pick was Kenyon
RonRon@ 8/2/2013 2:47 PM
Kmart was the best ROLLER after the good screen set He is very mobile, athletic, to go with his timely smart cuts, decent hands, and ability to finish Also has a decent handle to just take 2 dribbles if needed to the rim, he has the combination of best foot work/mobility/IQ/athleticism/ability to finish/strength *for switches on guards* for our "BIG's" His mobility also helps because he know's how to sometimes fake a screen and quickly cut to the basket while the defense was anticipating a pick before they recover However, after he got hurt in the late season, or Pacer's turned up their defensive intensity, it just didn't seem to work well with Hibbert dominating with his size

very true but is it really that the Knick's have interest or if agents/writers are just using NYK like always to try to draw more attention/leverage/interest
ramtour420@ 8/2/2013 8:24 PM
This guy ... Great hands fighting for rebounds in traffic( seems like a better rebounder than Chandler,he boxes out every time and can put the ball in the hole) Speaking of which he has an incredible touch around the rim, very soft hook shot from many angles, has the drop step which he uses very creatively, finishes great off-of pick and roll and he has a 12 foot shot in his arsenal as well. Shoots the free throws at round 70 % in the seasons where he played more than 30 games. He is a better shotblocker than Tyson with 1.2 blocks per 14 mins last year. Great at stopping penetration, very active feet on d. Sets good picks. Not sure why he never got much playing time He won the Asian Championship in 07 and 09 and was MVP in both Seems like he is a very underrated player, was waived by the Suns 5 days ago.

He is really impressive in the limited minutes he gets. He even put the ball on the floor and drove from the top of the key. He is a lot more effective on offense then Tyson and seems to be just a natural shot blocker. I really hope the Knicks sign him.
