THJ aint much of a shot creator or ballhandler but my man can shoot the rock!!

His only issue is that he can be streaky. Hopefully he can be consistent because he does have a nice shot
Good foul to give...going back to brooks roght here for the game
My son just called that SHot by Hardaway. I don't know why they've been flailing around on offense all this time.
Is there any doubt that Cole Aldrich, Jeremy Tyler and Toure Murray/CDR should be our final 3? And is there any doubt that Chris Smith is the worst player to ever be associated with a NBA franchise?

I think he was pretty lazy defensively but has all the tools to be pretty good. He needs to fill out but definitely think that he'll have a long NBA career.
THJ was lights out at times, but what really impressed me was how he recovered from a few trips down the floor in crunch time where he was playing like a rook, forcing it too much, and hit a clutch jumper.
Leslie got the clutch block but he looks raw enough for D league. Chris Smith looks raw enough for rec league.
Lol. Good block but leslie still doesnt make this team in my view. THJ is a lot more potent with a legit PG on the floor where he can come off curls and spot up....good shooter though. If CDR were part of this unit to close it out, we wi this by double figures easy, not by the skin of our teeth...overall a lot to like -- shump looked great, bargs looked like he's gonna fit in perfectly, aldrich was active (i wanna see a little more next game though), solid play from all our PGs, THJ's a keeper... Good game

No doubt in my mind it should be aldrich, tyler and CDR. Diogu and murry are good players too but there's no room for them unfortunately.
Props go out to world peace too. His offensive game gets overlooked. Very good 2-way player. Always has been

It's just one of those things where his crazy persona overshadows a good BB player. I watched him a lot last year and he was showing he still have plenty of game left.

If I remember correctly he was the main reason why the Lakers beat us in one of our two games last season. He was hitting big shot after big shot the whole game.
It's only pre season...but I really love this team. This roster is very balanced. Weakest link might be depth behind Chandler, but hopefully one of Aldrich/Diagu sticks and Tyler comes back healthy. Hardaway Jr. and Shumo won't shoot like that all season, but if they can be reliable 3 pt guys we're going to be nasty.
Holy crap....Ron Artest should never be allowed to give another post game interview. It's a train wreck.

Definitely started off sounding like a fool but then he sounded quite normal for the 2nd half and actually made some astute observations. Wally's right -- he actually does have a lot of leadership to offer if he channels it the right way

Yeah, it took him like two minutes before he finally got around to answering the question.
Caught only a few minutes. Melo looked like he was in better shape than start of last season. Bargs looked lazy at least on defense. They all looked disjointed but it's first game of pre-season so that's to be expected.

Man, are we deep or what? Wow. Crazy...bargs with a nice 3rd quarter. I could see melo getting lots of rest this season -- that's a great thing. Surprised a little at aldrich -- think he actually looks a little bit better offensively tonight than defensively. I still think he's gonna make this club...shump looks locked in. He's still my starting 2.
This team is super deep with little flaw that I can see. We can put 4-5 guys capable of scoring 20 pts on the floor at anytime. We have size upfront we have athletic wing players--we have 3 experienced skilled PGs 2 of which can score almost anyway we have speed depth diversified defense.
There will be a few bumps finding the chemistry because of the depth--but we will be able to play through that and win from game 1 because of out overall talent level. Is there a better NBA team--I dont think so.

Damn BRIGGS.. you are really up on this team.
It is really nice to see.
In all my years on this board you have always seemed to me to be a pessimist about the Knicks.
Of course looking back at the results of the last ten years I could not really blame you.
I too, also think this team is ridiculously solid.
Most of our weakness from last year has been addressed, especially age.
We absolutely can win the championship this year and it is great to see other posters feel the same way.

Papabear Says
We will be good just as long as management don't be playing games with our players like Shump.
