So much wrong information. The U.S. did not want to see their puppet Mubarak leave like the film says. They accepted the will of the protesters for elections grudgingly. Morsi was not picked by the generals like the film says, he received the most votes in the election. The U.S. did not see Morsi as a puppet, as it is silly to depend on a group like the Muslim Brotherhood to carry out the will of the west. They continued aid because they wanted the Arab spring democracy project to work.
