Yeah that's what happens when you get an upper respiratory infection and don't get enough rest. That things takes old people out. Some people get walking pneumonia cuz they think they've gotten rid of the infection but it's just in there waiting to re-emerge. Hopefully he's getting good medical care, cuz it's not a joke. Last time I had a chest infection it took more than a month to fully shake it.

Guys that travel long distances in a plane sometimes catch stuff because the air is recirculated. Not saying he isn't a partier but I wouldn't jump to conclusions.

ANYONE can get an upper respiratory infection. If you do then there's a chance it can progress to Pneumonia. If he was getting it on a regular basis that would be one thing, but to just be unlucky and get it once isn't a big deal. Just glad this is happening now and not during the season.

You guys are being ridiculous or, sarcastic (I hope). All it would take is to touch (for example) the change you get back from buying a hero from the local deli then touch your face afterwards. Germs are hard to avoid and you can pop as much vitamin C as you like but you can still get infected. Especially if you haven't been getting enough sleep possibly because of Euroleauge and media commitments. You guys must not have kids either. Those little ones can be little plague bearers.

so the solution to heal pneumonia would be to eradicate weak and stupid people around the world right ?
you are one specific case among millions, which means that your own experience of not having an upper respiratory infection since 1997 can't be translated as the general rule
some people have more probability to suffer from a given disease, while others are resistant, this is due to genetics, environment and a lot of other factors
so maybe it would be nice to not overreact about Bargnani having pneumonia ? it is not something to take lightly but the red flags are way too premature
