Knicks · "BOO HOO, I SUCK NOW AND THE COACHES KNOW IT TOO" - Jeremy Lin (page 4)

Your points are valid. My problem is with the time leading up to 2015. Melo, Amare & Tyson ain't gettin any younger. I'm resigned to waiting til 2016. Just wish we had Lin in his prime at 28 and not Felton at 33 running the show

i was fired up during linsanity and i dont consider myself a hater. But lin could have played in the heat series and chose to not play on the usa select team because of his upcoming free agency. A lot of guys have come back a lot faster from that surgery. Not sure why his rehab is still a topic. Also, i would love to know if he is recovered from his chest injury. I think the injury in the nba is unique to jeremy. With parsons, howard, and harden lin has a a lot of talent to make a point guard look good. Its his job to lose if morey cant move his contract.

Lin goes to a kid's camp admitting his faults in a very adult manner, and people are ragging on him? Are you guys for real?

Melo this, Melo that. Oh please, you want to talk about not living up to your to salary then look no further than Amare and Tysoft. Amare doesn't even fucking play and you are are talking about melo not earning his salary. But regardless of all the actual overpaid bums on the Knicks you choose to disparage Melo. Hmm, I wonder why? I feel bad for some of you guys, you worry over melo more than LaLa does...

gunsnewing @ 8/22/2013 12:55 AM
Melo is not the Knicks problem. PG is the problem. Lin is more talented than Felton. He is better at getting the overpaid player like Tyson involved

I disagree on the last part. Tyson touches stays relatively the same regardless the pg, especially in the playoffs. I think the best he did was with Felton in Charlotte.

Rockets better than knicks now?

but, most of the guys bitching and moaning about the state of the Knicks are saying that being good isn't enough, that you all want a chip but, then to support your argument you say the Rocketts are better now? They didn't win it last season, do I see them winning this upcoming season. Until Linn does more than make a cameo appearance in the post season, until his play makes a difference WHEN IT MATTERS, then he and his supporters better get used to threads like this.

Houston got potentially an 8 to 10 year window to build a championship team when they acquired a 23 year old franchise player with only 3 years of 6th man minutes and wear and tear.

Is Harden only 23? When talking franchise players, the only people on that team that fit the bill are Harden and Howard. The rest are role players, some of whom can't even consistently play their roles

It's going to depend on if Dwight's back holds out to wear and tear. Rockets are on the hook to Dwight and Harden for $40 mil through 2016-2017.

And many of us were calling him out for it while his cheerleaders brought his humble pie act and will forgive him for just about anything.

I doubt it was a majority defending him and many of those who did come across as bunch of potential stalkers.

And if we need to take out an opposing team's star PG he's the man. I wish we had signed someone like him or Collison to be our 2nd PG instead of Prigs.

nykshaknbake @ 8/22/2013 10:21 AM
He wasn't ready to go for the Heat series. I'm not sure what good it would have done. Unless you think he was faking injury? The burden of proof would be on you in that case. I could care less about the USA Select.

typical reaction from some knicks fans tho... Lin is a good kid and he is taking honest inventory of himself... I am sure he will be fine in Houston... you know the drill, once you leave the knicks, you suck.... go figure...smh

not sure about the heat series. It seems others came back sooner. He also sat out from participating on the usat seletc team because he didnt w ant to jeopardize his free agemc y. When you arent
playing because you are thinking about your next contract it is generally looked at in a negative light. a
