Add Murry....Put Leslie in the D-league.

He has real potential and a pretty good defender...

Toure reminds me a little bit of Darrell Walker, another former Knick. They're both rangy defenders and converted point guards with the ability to contribute in a number of areas and score just enough t keep the offense moving.

What I see in Toure is a KNICK! He just gives me that NY Knick vibe. We seem to have had players like him over the years and I always like big guards who have good defensive ability on top of being able to score and setup teammates. With our coaches we can probably improve his defensive techniques even more.

Murry would be a solid pick up. He really impressed me with his point guard play and his ability to guard smaller point guards.

Please let this kid get signed. I like everything I hear aboit him.

Probably the most accurate comparison.

Would be nice to keep him but the Knicks have 3 quality pgs and 3 quality shooting guards in the roster. It's a uphill battle. Probably a losing one.

NickNP @ 9/8/2013 11:51 AM
They are very different. Murry is a 6'5 point guard who is still learning how to play the point. Felton is alot quicker then him and maybe a little stronger. Murry's defense is alot better then Feltons though.

Wow, Maybe we should just retire his number!!!!!

He has three PG with NBA experience in front of him with Guaranteed contracts.

We really go with 4 on the final roster?

Something just feels keeper about him, much moreso than Leslie or Tyler. To me anyway..

yes coz the present PGs don't scream all-star, so you have to take a chance sometimes.

Imo, we dont even have a starting quality pg, all three are backups mainly because on one side of the ball each one is a liability.

None can guard their own position.

I dont mind the Knicks possibly taking a flyer on Murray mainly because it's not guaranteed two of our pg's will even be back next season, and i do think the young man can play in a limited role.

GustavBahler @ 9/8/2013 10:21 PM
With the luck this team has had with injuries, I like the idea of having another healthy backup at guard, just in case. We complain about the lack of development, Murry might be part of a future reboot if he pans out.
NickNP @ 9/10/2013 11:08 AM
Tony Douglas was terrible. I would agree Murry is a better then "TD" but i wouldnt put him ahead of Shump at the pg spot. Remember who Murry has been playing against. The summer league and d-league is not even close to the regular season of the NBA. I d believe he has a high ceiling though.
nixluva wrote:Murry is a converted SG who actually is a better PG already than TD or Shump. He has a natural passing ability and he's really smooth with the ball.
