Not sure what the hell i was thinking but i sold this kid way short during summer league. He's a lot further along than i realized. There's a lot to build on here. 6'10"-ish 260 to be able to move like that, stick a jumpshot, play well in the post, execute off the spin like that, mix it up power & finesse etc., i see a lot of vin baker in this guy...Gotta stick with him now and see where it goes. I was dead wrong calling him raw. Absolute lock to make the team.
I'm just hoping that his injury isn't going to hamper him going forward. It was immediately evident that this kid has a boatload of talent. I was excited that they brought him into Summer League and he didn't disappoint. He showed that he really wants to make the team. He's like another high draft pick in essence.

It was so annoying that he got injured- all that work he put in over summer. With Amar'e out, he could have earned a good spot on the roster- it was the perfect opportunity.
Can't remember how long they said he's be out for, but I hope it doesn't set him back too much.

Thanks- I should really have looked it up myself, sheer laziness on my part!
If he reaches his potential, we have our starting power forward for the future. Injuries suck though. As long as he is ok and on a low contact in 2015. Bird rights and all that. Would be nice to have him giving us 18/10 instead of having to pay Love a Kings ransom.
