with caremlo to position 4. We can do that--we can still let Bargs play 25-30 off the bench and start 75% of the time. Artest is a guy we want to match up with the Lebron James Kobe's Paul George types and Bargs can start against most other teams and come off the bench in bad match ups for our team defensively Lebron will hate facing the Knicks knowing he will be hounded by Artest for 35 minutes.
artest will come in and be the hound dog for those asses,
he'll bang you out of the building by doing nothing but standing there,
guy will probably squat 400 for you easy,
Metta still has it....we are lucky to have him.
Knicks have some holes though. We'll see how this all plays out.
I like him coming off the bench. He always wanted to be more of a scorer, and so shoots a bit too much sometimes. Maybe this issue gets negated bit if he comes off the bench- he gets to shoot the ball more and be more of an option offensively. He seems to like being the leader of the bench players.
I noticed as soon as he became a Knick, all the nba writers started making out he was old and washed up. Since when is 33 considered old and past it in this league? He had a small resurgence last year (he looked bad in the shortened season before that I think because he was out of shape), he's not done yet!

I like the idea of him coming off the bench too, like our "big stick" coming into the game. I was impressed with his shooting in the last game, and his presence alone seemed to turn up the intensity on defense. The look on Hansbrough's face was priceless when he turned and saw that Peace was on his ass! If JR starts, we are going to need some zip on our bench. Shump, Peace and Ike/Kenyon coming into the game might be what the doctor ordered.
