Knicks · IWG Coefficient--- the only stat you need to know to rank players (page 1)

IronWillGiroud @ 10/21/2013 11:38 PM
applied to 2012-2013 regular season for melo, lebron, durantula, gallo, jrswag, steve nash, kobe:

melo 6.52
bron 7.01
durant 6.84
gallo 4.87
jrswag 4.95
nash 3.99
kobe 6.16

it's clear melo is in bron/durant/kobe super elite level,

look at how bad nash played last year,

kobe is no longer as good as melo,

gallo has the impact of a good role players,

IWG Coefficient gives the heavy weights to the big basics: points, boards, dimes, ft%, ft, 3p, fg%, WINS

less juice behind specialty cats: steasl, blocks

ignores turnovers because including wins total discounts negative categories,

ignores 3p% because included in fg%,

considers games played out of 82--- health,

future considerations:

how it looks applied to playoffs,

how it looks as it happens--- path it takes over season

compare to per,

Oh no, there goes the formula! I know you mentioned all the things you use to compute your coefficient, but can you give us the actual formula?

Ad hominem fallacy?! No way man, you got it all wrong. I have tons of respect for the IWG brand, I was just curious!

great point,

i don't know why i didn't look at it like that,

THE IWG COEFFICIENT PROVES THAT NASH WAS NOT DESERVING OF MVP!!
