I wonder if we are just waiting until Tyler is 100% healthy and then sign him.

when chris murray scores first nba point it will be like the hero in the wheelchair
NYKBocker@ 10/25/2013 2:03 PM
Jordan Henriquez was just cut by the Rockets. He is worth a look. Young center at 6'11" and 250lbs
smackeddog@ 10/25/2013 2:06 PM
We need more PG's- we only have 5.
ChuckBuck@ 10/25/2013 2:09 PM
Really is tiresome being a Knicks fan.
Have to hope the Knicks have someone decent at the back of the roster, because it's a guaranteed certainty that injury to key players will happen.
Then when the back of the roster is Chris Smith...
When Amare, Kmart, Bargs goes down they could've had Diogu or Powell or Tyler, but NOOOOO...
I just don't know what to say anymore.

Rockets will either cut Isiah Canaan or Aaron Brooks. If both get cut then sign both and we have a Lucky 7.
MSG3@ 10/25/2013 2:11 PM
Chris Smith won't last. He's going to get his guaranteed $ and then we'll re-sign Tyler or another big. Diogu would've made it if it wasn't for Chris Smith, but he's just too under sized.
gunsnewing@ 10/25/2013 2:28 PM
How is that even legal? So the kick to signing JR who I wouldn't have signed for a penny was Chris Smith also getting his millions to not ever suit up?
ChuckBuck@ 10/25/2013 2:29 PM
Phucking disgusted by the Knicks...
Should've known this was a done deal once Steve Mills was brought back.

This kid's fluidity is head and shoulders above Aldrich and Tyler. This is the type of player you put on your roster and grow with.

This dude blocked 2 shots/game in only 15 mins...2.4 in only 20 the year before. That element should definitely transfer over to the pros.
And I might as well just say it here and be done with it -- retaining Chris Smith over more qualified players (Diogu, Tyler, CDR) is a flat out joke. It's unbelievable the amount of concessions we've made for JR and the "Smith family." God -- the Smith family and how much Woody respects them -- if I hear that one more time, I'm gonna puke my guts up. What are these people, royalty?!? I mean how do you take Murry AND C. Smith? Let's start there....Well Woody? Go ahead buddy -- tell us why he deserves a spot...Tell us how he earned it exactly. LMAO off at this organization, I swear...JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone else mentioned the Rockets may release Isaiah Canaan or Aaron Brooks...Both of those guys would be INFINITELY better signings over Chris Smith. I'd cut Smith and scoop up either of these guys quicker than Mike Breen can say BANG!
Might be worth a gamble. He has Ron Artest on the roster to mentor him as he struggles with his mental illness and the rigors of the NBA. We already have some characters on this team, so he should blend right in.

I'd rather you posted his family tree- if he's not related to one of our players, I'm not interested!

What a shame with this guy -- he can really play.
His attitude is terrible. He got a second chance and turned up to camp out of shape. He's shown no sign at all of being serious about becoming an nba player.
