Knicks · did chris zero smith make the team? (page 3)

It is ridiculous that he made the team. The guy isn't good enough to play in the dleague. I have to wonder if the knick management is wondering if jr embraces the big brother role and is more responsible. Similar to teams putting young guys in a family situation or moving their family for support, maybe the Knicks are trying to make jr successful.

This is far worse and erodes any notion of "best five play"

Chris Smith did nothing in public view to make anyone think he was worthy of a roster spot.

Zero

This kind of makes anyone who supports the Knicks financially--meaning anyone--especially the fans who buys tickets as a slap in the face to their support. MSG is a 4-5B dollar organization--who are they bowing down too?

CAA

Which essentially is bowing down to Melo. Didn't CAA come with Melo?

CAA is a lot bigger than Melo. I would imagine Dolan's other holdings depends heavily on entertainers and a lot of them are represented by CAA.

CAA doesn't give a sh*t about Chris Smith. Give me a break. This is all Dolan and nobody else.

Which would explain alot. One of Dolan's corporate mottos: "Let's do something to eff off the fan base."
He's been doing douchey things for a decade. Why get upset over this?

Had espn player rank had the foresight to put chris smith on the roster, where would he rank? Would he be a lock for the 500th spot or do you think there is someone worse?

that's not how you do it,

you attach chris smith's skills to jr's rating, so that you treat both as one player, because that's how our ownership is treating them,

I totally agree. J.R must have something on Dolan. That is nuts. Chris Smih is trash!

Maybe JR keeps a blackbook on league owners?
