Knicks · OT: Jeremy Lin (page 1)

Is good.

Wasn't he a Knick?

CrushAlot @ 11/3/2013 12:26 AM
He seems to be holding down the fort while the starter is out with sore ribs. I don't see him as a good fit with an offense that has a talent like Harden and I think you were smart to draft Beverly in Eny's league.n Do you think his good play entices a team to take on his contract? I like the idea of his playing a manu role for Houston if Morey doesn't move him. Morey and McHale seem to find away to emphasize players strengths. Playing Asik and Howard together is brilliant in my opinion. Rockets need to keep Asik.

I think they should trade asik for a stretch 4 (anderson) who caN hit free throws

I do think Lin would be much better served (stat wise) to be on a team that plays as a team. Perhaps Houston is that but Harden is such a ball dominant guy (ball hog).

Yeah retread that and it was a bit harsh.

Ball-hog? I usually use the term only for guys making bad decisions (low TS%, bad assist:to ratio).

knickscity @ 11/3/2013 8:55 AM
Nothing wrong with being ball dominant when good things happen when that player has it.
Clean @ 11/3/2013 10:06 AM
Say what ya want but we still miss Lin. He constantly drives to the hoop. We have not had a player like that since he left.

BRIGGS @ 11/3/2013 10:31 AM
Jeremy Lin is becoming more of a mature player after 3 years. The big hit on JL was that he was inconsistent turned the ball over too much and played porous D. Hes a smart kid--he's starting to adjust to his deficiencies and play to his strengths--which is an athletic tall ballhandler. Hes taking the right shot--making the right plays and has started this season off like an all star. I sometimes think about this team with David Lee and JL but like anything in life-whats done is done.
MS @ 11/3/2013 10:48 AM
Granted he would have been highly overpaid next seasons, it's interesting for all the spin our joke of a front office put on it, that they signed Novak to a bad deal and compounded it making the trade with the Raptors giving up a draft selection and bringing in a guy for close to the same salary they said they weren't willing to pay.

We still don't have a guy that attacks and gets folks easy shots. Would have been nice to see Lin and Felton man the point together and hold onto our picks. Because Shump and Hardaway were late selections and look to be nice pieces for this team.

Did you not hear people say late picks are useless? It must be true since everyone keep saying it to justify the Bargs trade.

Hell no!

We get the best player in that deal (Asik) and either the 2nd or 3rd best (Lin).
Lin is certainly less overpaid than Bargs!
Obviously Morey would never do this trade though.

Yeah, Morey's not touching Bargs with a 50 foot pole.

No one else would touch Bargs but the Knicks ended up overpaying for him. This is why I am no longer angry at how Grunwald got fired.

Bargs was going to be amnestied by raptors yet we gave up players and picks.

It certainly looks like it.

All the talk of Lin being overpaid and look at what we signed and traded for? (Camby, Kidd, Bargs, etc.)
I would love to have Lin here with Felton, what a great combo that would have been. True that Lin worked better without ISO guys like Melo, but I would still take having a smart scorer out there at the end of games.

Seasons just starting so I do think Bargs has hope.

Man, I miss Lin :(
