Spoelstra could crack 50 wins with a prime wade, but looks great with lebron.

It's not just JR, but once Felton and Melo start shooting at their career avg's that will make a huge difference. Not to mention the whole team developing more chemistry with the new pieces. Right now Felton and Melo are vastly underperforming and I doubt that this will be the case all year. Just look at how bad Melo and Felton are playing so far. It's not likely that they won't play better than this as some point.

Mike Woodson was and still is a terrible head coach. Too bad some members here felt the need to defend him like he was Phil Jackson.

Phil jackson doesn't seem to have the health any more (he's older than he looks). No way in hell we get Scott Skiles- players hate him after a year or two- no way we get such an unpopular coach heading into the FA of 2015. Byron Scott's rep is he's a players coach who doesn't really do enough prep etc. Don't see how he's better than Woody.

Option C: We're a good team that shouldn't look outmatched by the Bobcats because our coach is an airhead. After watching the games I'm not convinced we're contenders anymore, but I think most people would agree that we shouldn't be 1-3 either.

The team being a mess is a direct reflection of the coach and a lack of leadership across the board.
The knicks play very well in spurts, then woodson makes a substitution that kills.
The only coach on the planet that would start a small line up and play half court basketball.
I recall very well that the hawks were a jump shooting team, that relied heavy on JJ and josh smith to create for themselves.
The guy was fired after a 53 win season and a 2nd round exit

Like I said, our next coach will be decided based on their ability to attract FAs in 2015 and their appeal to Melo, I think. Skiles tends to hate his players and be hated by them after about 2 seasons. I shudder to think of his relationship with JR!
