Lets say thats our record--I dont believe it will be but lets imagine it is--what would you do if you are the Knicks management.

Make these two trades to build a package (including Amar'e and draft picks) for Rajon Rondo, Jeff Green, Gerald Wallace, Brandon Bass and Courtney Lee:

Look to trade Melo and try to get back all the lost draft picks.

I'd have to agree. And I love Melo.

....Or this when we exhaust every avenue to get Rondo. Problem is that I don't see any team that would have the draft picks I'd want to surrender Melo. Sacramento might fit the bill but I doubt they'd give up draft picks for a guy that could walk at the end of the year.
No we should keep it going.
It should get so disgusting that Dolan will switch to curling.
Any shot of the Clippers trading Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan for Carmelo and Tyson? I think that Griffin's and Jordan's production would drop with us since we don't have a PG to get them the ball but they'd be intriguing prospects moving forward.
If Evan Turner is available maybe you make a run at him. Philly and Turner seem to be heading for a divorce. Not sure if the Knicks have anything Philly wants. Also, I would make a move for him at any point if he is available and the Knicks could get a deal done. I don't see the Celts moving Rondo even if they could dump Wallace's contract but I would love to see him on the Knicks.

I think Turner is going to be one of the very hot free agents next year--hes starting to show what he can do. Im not sure what I would do--I think the Knicks believe playoffs at any cost--which might mean a bunch of 1mmcontracts added up to take on a salary next year since theyve given away th farm with picks. I like Isiah Thomas from Sacremento he could help speed the team up and diversify the offense . I wish we drafted Gobert--I cant blame the Knicks for not making it but right now wish they did.

Knicks can still pick up Fab Melo or Whiteside.

None is giving up draft picks for a player on an opt out.

Melo needs talent and smart players around him to win. Great INDIVIDUAL player but he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed - He wants to do it on his own. We have
the talent to win, no doubt but Melo is not the lead guy to put it together. Honestly, a guy like Lin could have brought the team together
but that ship has sailed. This franchise is not cursed. We are our decisions and it shows. We have no leader, we are led by an ISO player, a great one, but an ISO one.
Didn't you say a week ago that we had a good shot at winning the title this year?
Everyone wants to sell low. We should have traded Melo at the right moment a long time ago - back when he was winning player of the month awards. People won't want to trade him until the team reaches its low point though.
