is Melo past his peak?
will we win a game in November?
it's gloomy skies tonight
It's Never Gloomy Where The Answer Man Lives
Q. IronWill - will we win a game in November?
A. Yes. But it will get worse before it gets better.
Q. IronWill - is Melo past his peak?
A. Yes. Time is undefeated and shoulder surgery is nothing to be afraid of.

You sound pretty gloomy to me. When the answerman is pessimistic you know the team is in trouble.
I wouldnt be surprised if we get blown out.
Dagger - The Answer Man calls it like he sees it
Any middle schooler knows that you never into a season with fewer than three centers.
We are guard heavy and Chris Smith needs to go.

I'm really curious how many teams actually have three centers on their roster currently.
I'm guessing....very few if any, there arent that many centers in the nba...most are converted powerforwards.

None have talent like Chris Smith on their bench.
Knickscity - you make an excellent point. Three centers is the goal.
If that fails, having three 6'10 wide bodies is a nice fallback

The goal is something few if any do? You cant be serious.
Knickscity - the goal is to win a championship
If you do not have quality front court depth, you gets no ring.
Just think Bird, Parrish and McHale. Now imagine adding Len Bias.

I'm still looking for the championship teams that have three centers.
The last team to win with one was the lakers, and I doubt they had three.
You made a horrible point, just let it go.
if the goal is to win a championship get the best player in the game and build around that...those are the guys who win.
Everything else is an EXCEPTION.
Knicks win this game big.

Amen. And the sun continues to shine for the next 4 billion years.
AnswerMan proves that even homers can stil be painfully realistic. Minus the ever-brooding somberism.
Sheehit, knickscity, how many effing centers have been on the now 1-3 Knuggets?
Mr. "Hey, I'm a Leader on this Squad" Felton apologizes on behalf of your orange and blue.
Good things should follow.
If we lose tonight and D'Antoni wins the next game, so Lakers are 4-3 then and we are 1-4?? You're gonna be wishing you still had D'antoni!
Taping this 1. Going to Barclay's to see the new arena and Uconn--haven't been to Brooklyn in three years.
Don't waste the tape Briggs

Just went last weekend - lived there for 2 1/2 years (2010-2012). Neighborhood is looking good, the stadium is a little ugly but its pretty awesome to have a stadium with sports and concerts that so many people can walk to.

Pretty sure I won't be doing that.

+1
Yeah, that worked out so well the last time, IWG. I'd rather spend time wishing Larry Brown were here instead. Right after I wish we still had IT!
The worst thing that can happen this game is that we win by 1 or 2 points. They need to win by 10 or more points otherwise this will be a "fool's gold" win that will only keep necessary adjustments from happening (acquisitions or trades). Given the state they are in if they can't come out and convincingly win this game they are better off losing. I would never root for them to lose, but if this game is close in the 4th quarter I don't think I'll be watching the rest..
