Knicks · What we learned from game 5 (page 1)

Melo has to keep this style of play fresh from game to game, he's the straw that stirs the drink for the knicks. He called the meeting and probably told his teammates that he's gonna trust them and keep the ball moving like he did early in the season last yr. He is the "VOICE' instead of Jason Kidd now.

However Melo plays , the rest of the team follows suit. I might stop blaming Woody and blame Melo, he set the meeting , he changed his style of play and effort and his teammates stepped up.

It's a players league fo- sho

Glen grunwald knew what he was doing.

If Melo plays like this he will win the MVP. Efficient and worthy of a superstar tag.

we learned that if we play the bobcats 82 games we have a shot at winning 41.. other than that, not sure what to take from this game... I hear knicks players calling a game vs the bobcats a "back against the wall" game.. LOL.. bobcats are young and improving, but they are not that good and last night was not well coached by ewing.

next few games, vs the spurs, Hawks, , pistons...that is more of a measuring stick.... I think if we played the cats again to night, we might come up on the short end of the stick.. can't take much from this game, except the occasional good performance you may get from bargnani and the occasional efficient game you will get from carmelo...

Go back under YOUR rock man, Denver needs you to dissect their play.

Melo is the key, J Kidd isn't here anymore he has to be more vocal and lead by example by trusting his teammates more, even when their shots aren't falling for an entire game.

LoLz

Pretty much. Let's see how we take it to the Spurs on Sunday, that's the early season measuring stick

That Bargs is going to have to be the feature PNP & PNR option over Tyson even when Tyson comes back from injury.

I would rather us mix up up between the two. Tyson can be good in the role that Birdman has for the heat. Maybe we can have a PNR between Tyson and Bargs. We just need to stop being predictable. Tyson being the only one setting screens and ISO Melo will not win us anything if they are all we do.

It's this kind of post that aggravates me- why do you feel the need to piss on people's parade? If we won the next few games, you would then move the goal posts again, then it would be 'oh only the playoffs count' etc etc.

Are you like this in daily life? If anyone expresses happiness to you, do you remind them that it's fleeting, life is futile and they're going to die?!

This is very true. Knicks fans should cherish any opportunity to be happy.
We were happy 54 times last year an 2 this year. What not to like?
