Woody took out Tim after 1 bad shot. Woody Keeps Melo in after about 10 bad shots.
Melo motion looks so off and his selection has been terrible.
I hope that black book that melo was talking about has someone who can teach him how to pass and not take contested shots.

When the offense gets stagnant, hero ball usually kicks in.

Does Melo know how to drive to the hoop?

dude. this is the question i ask every time a game is close and we go IsoMelo 3 possessions in a row.
the dude is a nasty scorer. he should be shooting the ball a lot. but can we come up with some ways to get him better looks?! PLEASE
The one easy way is to set a lot more picks for him but no one seems to want to do that like he will be insulted. All he needs is a little daylight.
Yes. I get that he might be more comfortable creating off the dribble.
I feel like it's sad that no coach at any point in his career set up an offense to get him looks coming off screens or convinced him that he doesn't have to work so damn hard to score.

Hero ball tends to kick in when the ball gets to melo.

There are so many ways to get a player open and we basically shut all those options down and only give melo the ball in the post with the other team keying on him. If they were to use more curls, double screens and down screens to get Melo open looks it would be so much easier. How about Melo in the PnR as he said he'd do more this year!!!! REMEMBER THAT? This summer he supposedly worked on more PnR so he could take advantage of what was for him his highest % play.
OMG tim drove to the hoop!!
just got home. Glad I didn't miss the whole game. Let's win dis shyt
