Yeah, his ego. Hardin is hurt. Felton isn't hurt! Shump can back from an ACL injury way early. I am not buying that.
Felton has the ability to be good, but I think his condition could be his biggest problem. The guy need to workout with Lebron in the off season instead of eating chicken nuggets. lol. The reminds me Al Amin. The puggie guy was fast. Felton is somewhat as quick as he was.

Bargs getting his groove back, Tyson back in 5 weeks, Smith for Tyler, even less minutes for Amare, THJ with more experience, and things will be looking pretty good.

My biggest concern right now is actually Melo's shoulder.

felto is what he is. he has never been a good defender or even a goof pg. He played very well in MDA system but most guards play well in that system. There is a reason why felton was very available when we decided not to sign lin

Melo is great. Bargs kind of compensate Tyson absence.
After this we have troubled grumpy Shrimp and that's it...

It's not that Melo's the whipping boy - but he's your best player has to understand the game situation. I've actually been around long enough that I remember the Knicks last championship and what went through my mind was Walt Frazier would Never ever make that mistake. Same for the rest of that team.

I agree about the decision making. I just don't think he is slow and fat. He came into camp in good shape and got hurt.

Metta picked a bad game for his offense to disappear and its amazing that games when Amar'e play the knicks lose.

His first few games Felton was taking it to the rim at Derrick Rose speed, but it didn't last long. I don't buy that its a conditioning issue unless he's on the Eddy Curry diet.

bargs always plays good man to man on Dwight. this is nothing new as ive seen this for years. the issue is that that this is the only way the Knicks can be in games vs quality opponents...melo having to score 40. end of game was all hero ball between him and Jr while bargs just watched. who in their right mind wants to play with those two idiots? and melo won't take a backseat to any pg...must be one that has juice like billups did.

Tyson being out is only exposing the problems that were already there at PG. This isn't really new. We've been getting KILLED at PG for years. Felton has hit his wall career wise and Prigs should be a 3rd string guy at this point in his career. Love Prigs but these younger, bigger and stronger guards are killing him.

you keep defending bargnani. He is not the solution. Knicks needed defense, and rebounding as well as PG help.. but we were told that we needed a soft as wet tissue paper stretch four, and that beno, felton and prigs were more than enough to hold down the PG spot... we didn't address any of our needs from last year..

Again like i said a few times the point guard position is a probelm. Toure murry isnt gonna fix it. The only way to get a good point guard is but spending money or drafting and we have neither. This is why i hate giving up 1st round picks unless its for a star player

Bargs played great tonight and he did pull Howard out of the paint. Kerr even half joked that the Knicks were bringing Bargs in for defense.

You're truly lost if you think Bargs is the problem. He's the last of our worries. He's not here to be the Center, he's here to do what he's been doing now that he's gotten going. He just needed time to get in shape and get his feel back. The real issue is at PG. I was hopeful that we'd run more PnP wth the guards we have since that's really what they do best, but that's not the offense we're running so we need different PG's.

He came in in shape it just hasn't translated. He seems quicker but he still can not finish. Maybe that goes back to the hamstring issues and an inability to explode but not finishing has been a career issue. As a team its a universal issue. The teams lack a player that can drive and finish consistently.

P.S. I actually will take a game like this from Smith because he appeared to play well defensively and rebounded very well. The step back annoys everyone and I think he is being used wrong. He needs to be used like he was early in Denver when he was a Redick type player. Let Jr create drives after he catches the ball off the screen.

Sidenote as a UF fan this is a great night to see Parsons, Lee, and Speights play.

Just remember people said the same thing about Lin. Sometimes you have to give a talented kid a chance. Murry has more raw talent than any other PG we have. Sometimes that makes up for experience.
