Marc Stein mentioned that the Knicks are talking to the Kings too
they have Ferdette, thomas and vasquez....
they also have jason Thompson and Moute from the bucks.
Do we have a potential trade partner here?

I suspect they are offering Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes, so lower those expectations! Vasquez had a fluke year last year- he's also an awful defender. Fredette is also an awful defender and a poor player, who, let's be honest, was drafted higher than he should have been because he was white! JTs salary isn't cap friendly either. Don't like the culture of that Kings team either.

Wow, I thought it was his phenomenal shooting. With your logic, there should be more white guys drafted higher, because, well, there white.
Give me isaiah Thomas in any pkg and I would think about it if they do not have to give up Felton who would move to the back up pg. Thomas is the only player that fills a need on the Sac roster that maybe available. He finishes at the rim and shoots a high percentage from three. They are still bringing him off the bench and seem more invested in Vasquez.

Even the writers said he was picked higher than he should have been at the time because he would 'sell tickets'- he had bust written all over him. Unathletic, slow, a lot of people questioned if his release was quick enough at the pro level.

One trick ponies that standout from a personality standpoint, often become overrated. Look at guys like Kenneth Faried, Anderson Varejao, Chris Andersen, etc. I think it has a lot more to do with their likeability than race. Fredette fits this mold. Maybe I'm falling victim to the trend but I actually think he can be a capable role player. The Knicks definitely could use his shooting ability and I don't think his defense is nearly as bad as people think.
I don't think Jimmer's been given a fair NBA shot yet. He can shoot the lights out. There is a place in the NBA for him. He's just buried on a team with 50 guards.
so would you guys do a Jimmer for Shump trade in some capacity?
Isaiah Thomas is my guy though.

Are you nuts? No way. If anything, we could use our trade exception from the Brewer trade and cash for Fredette.
