Anyone else feel like woodson has a apparent double standard when dealing with players? He seems to hone in on certain players when they make mistakes (shump, novak, etc), and seems to let others get away with similar mistakes without the benchings and yellings.
Felton is hurt and largely ineffective. Has Beno played enough to justify his complete benching? Compare him to the JR Smith scenario, who got promotedto the starting lineup and is playing big minus.
With prigs and felton playing the wAy they are, why no beno? Give him a chance, and if he is really that bad cut him and move on. I'm sure he would we welcome that.
Not being in the locker room, all anyone sees is lip reading during the game.
Play Cole Aldrich
Yes Andrew absolutely. It's been brought up here many times before. How JR has carte Blanche to do whatever whereas guys like Novak and Shumpert get grilled and micro-managed. It's one of the reasons why Shumpert is where he is today. On the way out
And JR will be SG until his next suspension
Problem is Beno is more of a statue than Felton defensively. Start Prigioni til Murray is ready in Jan

Prove that by playing him.
I have noticed his double standards. But the most obvious double standard Woody has is for the Smith family. For some reason I believe he was the reason for such a stupid deal behind the signing of Smith and his brother. Melo is another but what do you expect out of Woody Melo writes his checks.
He is matching well with MSG corporate machine.
I expect him to be fired eventually anyways as scapegoat is a big part of his value for Dolan.
Not sure why any sane owner with hire him as coach again. He will go for some operations job in NBA or for some team.
He is done as NBA coach.
his only double standard is getting in the faces of rookies but not with the "stars". not really his fault but just the culture of the nba right now where players have too much power.
I've seen him hone in on Shumpert with a quickness. His gestures and subsitutions imply that he doesn't think highly of him. Anyone else gets that bulls*** stare. His benching of players as well as who suits up is the only authority he has left, and he's using that poorly. If a player can't keep up on defense, let him learn while he sits next to the coach. Miss 10 shoots in a row? Obviously that player needs a different game plan.
hate to say it but a coaching change is needed.
This is why he's losing his credibility and his instructions are Falling on deaf ears
I should also add that the 2 players that seem to be in wood's corner is ray and Melo ironically there the only 2 players that log the most min..

agree, but as we have seen about 5x over the last decade or so its a bandaid and we will be back having his chat in two years again

I don't think it would be considered a band aid considering it's part of the 3 main issues that's going wrong
I wonder what Clyde thinks of Mike Woodson. A man who was all about playing team ball. He is always criticizing the ISO throughout the telecast

I knew that when we lost to Indiana in the playoffs , we had them fearful of us in game 6 and he took his foot off the gas pedal

Yea I knew that well before then but that game sealed the deal
with the way our guys are playing --- do you really think a new coach could teach Stat how to play defense or Melo to knock down shots late in the 4th etc. ?
woodson is way to incompetent for dolan to fire.

This is the truth
