Carmelo Anthony to Washington
Evan Turner Bradley Beal Otto Porter Jan Vessley to NY
Philly gets Iman Shumper and 2 Washington #1 picks 2016 and 2018
thats awesome...have you presented it to Mills yet?
No way Washington gives up Beal and Porter. Thats a pipe dream. With the way Turner is playing Philly may want to hold onto him as well. He's finally fulfilling his potential.
That being said this trade would be an epic haul for the Knicks. Too bad if the Knicks trade Carmelo every team will lowball because we are selling low.
If things really get that bad the Knicks should really consider stuff like that. Sacramento and even a team like new Orleans. New Orleans with Melo is a title contender. I'd take tyreke turner and Ryan Anderson for Melo
It would a very good deal it's something to consider.

exactly, they give up beal who has all star talent, porter, and 2 #1 picks for carmelo and shumpert?
I highly doubt that..

oh lordie....if that is the case then I wonder why they haven't contacted the knicks already?
No one will trade for Melo at this point. He will opt out and kill any teams cap space best strategy for teams is let him opt out and then present an offer. Knicks would be wise at that point to simply let him walk.

Season is early and whos to say they haven't? Did the Knicks say they were shopping? a dios mio

Do you really think they think they can resign him? It's common sense. The only bad team that would consider trading for him that might have a shot to resign him is washington.

Yeah most assume the Knicks aren't shopping Melo. Has a player of Melo's status been traded in the past, say 10 years, without them forcing their way out? Players like that just don't get traded without a real reason.

ok then all of the talk of him making them a title contender is silly.. because if it were that evident and carmelo would not resign there, it just goes to show that he is a fool, or really doesn't care about winning right?
either way what does that say about carmelo the player?

it says absolutely nothing about what Carmelo Anthony can or cannot do on the court. Literally, absolutely nothing

we already know what he can't or can't do on the court which is why I laugh at the pelicans becoming contenders by just adding carmelo.. LOl when has that ever led to that result?
here's a simpler trade that serves a purpose for both teams...
kyle lowry for felton + shumpert.
How bad has Lowry been DJ that you are trying to pawn him on us? Smh lol

i was always a big fan of lowry.. I have my eyes more on bledsoe, but I don't think the suns move him.. I think lowry has slipped a bit in play..
gunsnewing wrote:How bad has Lowry been DJ that you are trying to pawn him on us? Smh lol
i think it has more to do with casey. every single player that has played for his saw their fg% dip. our offense consists of rudy + demar chucking it up in the half court. it's disgusting. lowry hasn't played well, that's for sure but he's an expiring and we take felton's deal off your hands. it's mainly to get shumpert who we can either keep since we'll probably be moving demar or flip in another deal.
teams that will trade for Melo will only trade him at a reasonable price because of his player option, as a 1 year rental
Also, only teams that believe he is the final piece to being contenders will make a play for him
Problem is, we will get lowballed and deservingly so in any trades period, with our cap situation/lack of assets, and the way the league/GM's always does business with us that way
I don't see Philly making the same mistake they did for Bynum, they are likely trying to rebuild through draft picks, and cap space, in addition to the young core that is playing well for them
The teams that will be willing to trade for Melo, that do not fall in this category would want to give up players with longer deals such as a package of Gereld Wallace/ Courtney Lee/ Kris Humphries and maybe some picks and that is the only way I can see us being able to get a injured gamble like Rhondo
Melo in a package for Asik/Lin, Ryan Anderson, Ilyasova, thus losing the ability to sign a core of FA's in 2015, are deals that GM's, if we can develop players I would love Giannes Adeketmbo
Rhondo does not mix in with Melo, as he is ball dominant, and not a shooter so he needs 4 other shooters to spread the floor with him to be effective, however, can we still be a good rebounding/defensive team at the same time?
find a desperate team and make a deal. target #1 for the knicks should be charlotte.
