More bodies length athletiscm size. Their all young and good. For anyone who thinks drfat picks are a waste of time--take a hard look at Oklahoma--they also drafted Harden by the way--shouldve kept him but they are real good. Why not offer Presti 5mm per year to run this team??? That would be the ticket.

I was thinking the same thing. I only caught the 2nd half but they looked damn good. They'll miss Harden but I think Lamb will come along nicely for them in the near future and Reggie Jackson will fill the gaps. As for Presti, I wholeheartedly agree. We need young talent that is more atune to this culture of basketball and the cutting edge resources that are available. I feel this need is especially true for a coach, which is why I'm frustrated that we can't find a Brett Brown or Mike Budenholzer.
That's what happens when you get Kevin Durant, which is a product of the right player coming out when you're the worst team.
OKC looked pretty good last year, to my eye slightly better than they look now. Yes, Adams and Lamb look like good picks. Presti doesn't seem like a Dolan kinda guy.
They look just as good as last year...that is, until Westbrook went down.
We probably wouldn't be having this convo if the Sonics/Thunder had the first pick in the 2007 Draft
I think replace Westbrook and Durant with Melo and Amar'e, and they have a legit shot at winning it all- I'll see if they're interested in a trade.

as I said, can we trade for him or morey? I would gladly pay them max dollar if we could.. would be well worth it.. LOL

That is what happens when you maximize picks... they also drafted westbrook, harden, they got ibaka, sefelosha from the bulls.. they just made a ton of right moves....
" . . . a ton of right moves . . ."
And, they have a solid coaching staff.
OKC's problem is their ownership. yes they are young and talented but losing Harden for being cheap was one of the worst moves ever

I'm not sure if it's entirely the ownerships fault. They did make the decision to keep Kendrick Perkins, Thabo and Eric Maynor instead of James Harden. If they got rid of those two guys, they should've had enough space to keep their core quartet together (Westbrook, Harden, Durant and Ibaka). The irony is that they'd move Kendrick Perkins for a bag of potato chips and they had already moved Maynor for cents on the dollar.
Small market gm who chose not to spend the money to keep harden. They couldve dominated for a decade...smh
