C-Cole Aldrich
F Anthony
F Stoudemire
G Hardaway(replacement for the ineffective Shumpert)
G Udirih
F/C Bargs(need to move him down to an offensive 7th man type)
F Martin
G JR Smith
G Murry (replacement for the ineffective aging Prigioni)
We have to change it up. Start the game with a real C. Let Hardaway start SG with the caveat he takes good shots and moves the ball. Move Bargs back to 7th man and replace 37 yo Prigioni with the more athletic Murry.
You cant lose games when you have a player doing 35-15. The supporting cast for Melo needs a shift--Woodson needs to be directed to change up because he clearly wont.
changing the starting line-up will not make us a good team

agreed!

nothing will make this team a good team.

I want to remain optimistic, and think whatever the flaws of this group, that there is the potential in this group to play much better. That last years 54 win team wasn't completely due to Jason Kidd and whatever else you want to attribute it to.
I just don't like our defensive schemes of switching on everything - I worry that lets players not take personal accountability on defense.
I think you fire Woodson to send a shot to the team, and if you can, bring in a taskmaster like a Hubie Brown who is going to call every single play for this squad, and you tell CAA that if Anthony doesn't want to be part of this team, and that while he is a great talent, you're worried he's not a winner, then you're prepared to move on, and if he wants to be traded, give us the short list- otherwise, he is happy to walk for nothing.
"a taskmaster like hubie brown"...like who?
I don't understand why Aldrich can't get any playing time.
cuz he absolutely sucks. playing aldrich isnt gonna make a diff
You've seen him play 14 minutes, and he grabbed every rebound in sight. Career-wise, he's a good rebounder and shot-blocker, and an efficient scorer. What is he so horrible at?

We are not winning games without him. Why not give him and Murry a chance. I remember before Linsanity everyone said Lin sucked and he would not make a difference. I remember the same thing being said about Cope. With this history of end of the bench players helping the Knicks, why would we continually make the same mistake and count them out before giving them a chance?
I wouldn't bench Prigs, he is playing hard and we need his scrappiness on D. If anything, we need to reduce Udrih and Prig's minutes and give some of them to Murry and see what he does. If he shows something, gradually increase his minutes until he's earned Udrih or Prig's spot.
Only suggestion right now is to replace the coach. Get a coach who actually runs plays. It's no wonder when Melo passes the ball something decent happens but he rarely does that. To much of a play ground feel to what the Knicks do. The constant badgering by Woodson has left Shump a shell of what he was. I said this before and I'll say it again this team is no longer responding to the coach. He lost them last year in the Pacers series.

Yea as evident by Tyson Shumpert and amares comments. Funny thing is the Knicks picked up Woodsons option and he is still the coach at 3-10

at what point does Dolan realize Woodson has lost the team?
Because I don't see a win coming to this team on this current road trip.
At what point does he get fired? 3-14?
I have them at 4-13. Not much better
