Linsanity was AWSOME, on so many levels! Funnest times I had watching the Knicks in 20 years!
JR: 12 pts, 1 assist on .322% FG.
J Lin: 15 pts, 4.5 assists on .503% FG.
Who has the "ridiculous" contract now Melo? Ridiculous to let Jeremy Lin go, Dolan.
nobody cared about lin last yr, the only reason his name is coming up now is because our pg sucks and he's having a solid yr..
when melo came back from injury, lins run came crashing down and we lost 7 in a row before MDA quit, lin plays 2 more games and is force to shut it down..
Lin wood be super avg or below avg under woodson, his philosophy and system on both ends exploits pg's weaknesses big time..if all your going to do run iso's a post ups on offense and switch on defense..what kind of pg is going to have success doing that

You are aware that the body of work you're citing is only 12 games long and that JR Smith has been the exponentially better of the two over the course of their respective careers, right? Never mind the fact that Lin still makes $2 million more than Smith this season and will have that figure triple by next season.

I would've felt more comfortable building a team with Lin on it than JR Smith, along with keeping a coach that brings out the best in PG and ball movement offense, but that's just me.

Neither Lin or Smith are players you build a team around. You're living in a fantasy world if you think otherwise.
Yea who would want Lin when you have the great Raymond Felton

Patrick Beverly starts ahead of Jeremy Lin. 'Nuff said. I want Lin back but let's not pretend that his shit don't stink.

The only thing JR is better at is getting suspensions.

the amount of suspensions JR smith has compared to Lin?
Lin is better than Felton. He is not a superstar but all he needs to do is move the ball to the right players, the superstars.
Lin is OK PG but he is not needed in MSG.
They are into another type of fun... they like the world to laugh at them.
Clowns are clowns. They getting paid by the circus visitors and are heappy.
Let them be...
Melonoma, you said "Houston trade" . . . Houston trade? What am I forgetting? Houston retired, right? Perhaps worked out for Phoenix but, basically, retired a Kinick after his injury. No? What was the Houston trade? Something not involving Alan Houston?

I think he is talking about trading Jordan hill, a top 3 protected pick in 2012,and Jared Jeffries for the cap space provided by mcgrady's expiring.

Pat Beverly started because Houston Rockets PGs are freaking deep. How often can you say you have three solid PG on your team that comes out scoring in double figures every single night? Aaron Brooks has showed up all of a sudden. PBeverley gets injured, Lin backs him up. Lin gets injured. ABrooks backs him up.
Lin is a 6th man because he's not needed in the starting line up. Rockets are already stacked as it is. A team that is stack can afford to send one of their primary player to the bench.
You need to understand that the starting line-up is not something you gauge a player by. Hell, Kwame Brown was in the startling line up for the Lakers. What does that say about your silly notions of what it means to start?

Dude, all 3 of their PG's are mediocre to a smidge above average. None are anything to write home about. Lin is better than Felton, I've already said that but that doesn't mean very much considering how abysmal our PG platoon is. So hop off.
