Knicks · Trades that should happen (page 1)

Amare for Hump, Crash and Lee. Shump for Waiters. Shump's value is decreasing by the hour and its not working out in ny. Nothing wrong with needing a change of scenery. Waiters is a really good player that has some maturity issues. Getting him for Shump would be a coup for the knicks in my opinion Amare is a negative on both ends of the court. Woodson is either required to play him or being respectful. Hump and Crash are tough players that would benefit the Knicks. Hump could step right in for Tyson and then spell him with KMart.
Crash/Metta is a rough pair of 3's that bring great defense and moxie. No reason to keep Stat. Hump's deal is for 12 mil so while you sacrifice cap space you still get some.

Waiters is a shorter JR smith. The Boston Deal sucks for the future unless you cut Wallace after this year and used the stretch provision. I wish Shump was on his game some because Gordan Hayward in Utah would be a great piece. He leaving more than likely this summer. I would not be surprise if Boston took a run at him considering his old coach is there and he is a young talent. In the same mold as Parsons. I still remember the Butler vs UF game and was saying if Hayward is a first rounder then Parson should be one too.

As I was posting I just looked over his shooting numbers this year and they are terrible but this would be the time to get him for Shump.

Rebuild or stay the course and stop with the patchwork trades that does nothing but keep up is cap hell for longer periods of time.

Stay the course man I totally agree with this. Knicks aren't winning anything so take the lumps for a couple of years and take it from there. By that time the Heat will have aged a little more and the doors will open up for a change.

I agree with that but what are the chances of us staying the course when we have an incompetent owner who will go for th quick fix and trade whatever assets we have led for a quick fix. Another mish mosh of talent that doesn't fit the coaches style. Any move Dolan makes will create enough buzz to keep people in the seats of a newly renovated billion dollar arena. We've seen this play out before

The chances are slim but that doesn't mean that we should give up on the proper practices of building a team. Since most of us live to be arm chair GMs. The proper move is to let Amare's contract expire so you can choose who comes in. You can't continue to band aide the team.

We can't think like Dolan because we are fans we are in it for Championships. Dolan is in it to be profitable.

^^^^^^THIS!!! This is why it's soooooo frustrating being a Knicks fan cause you KNOW Dumblin is going to do SOMETHING that's going to make things worst!
