despite the knicks tanking, they're only 3 games back. With D Rose going down, Knicks can end up 3rd in the east just cuz the atlantic division is terrible.
Problem is we'd have to actually win those 3 games.

hat this does is gives knicks management an unfair out and masks the problem of a bad team Even if the Knicks are 3-19 they ill not be anywhere near out of it and they ill continue along the lines of reasoning that e can be a 3 seed and hang a banner.
You know Dolan will do everything possible to get that 8th seed
3 games back but behind every other team.. and as the season moves on, those bad teams will play harder, because they feel they have a shot, heck they may even make a trade to better their playoff situation... it creates a serious problem for the knicks...

Who cares with Tyson or without Tyson. This is not even @35 win team so who cares.all it does is mask a problem. Carmelo showed why we don't want him yesterday. No assist in 40 min and self serving last play. Team needs an overhaul but unfortunately some foolish fans believe in this wreck. Even though there is full evidence in front of them

Why do so many teams suck this year? I can't help but wonder if it's the new CBA taking hold- makes it damn near impossible for a lot of teams to upgrade with the luxury tax, no sign and trades for teams in luxury tax, the clamp down on MLE etc.
All this BS talk about parity during the lockout- the reason why I'm against it is it doesn't mean every team would be good, it would mean that most teams would be poor, which means most games will be poor (as is the case this year).
Still, at least the billionare owners got their money...

at least for the NEts and Knicks, you're talking about two teams that dug their own graves long before the new CBA, Knicks with the Melo trade and NEts maybe with the hiring of Billy King
