But the key thing is the cap hit, which is $8.4 mil. Really in the next cba they need to get rid of that clause, where for some reason the cap hit is less than the actual salary- makes no sense.
Sad-sack demeanor? He would fit right in!
Morey has gotten praise since the Harden move, but before that everyone was saying he was about to be/ should be fired- one of the critcisms at the time was his obsession with having to be seen as 'winning' every trade he makes, which up until then had led to very few needed trades being made.

The team was built around T-Mac and Yao - they should have been perennial title contenders. Then he rebuilt the team to a point where they're very good and young and they never even dipped below .500.

He did, but before the Harden trade, a lot of writers and fans were calling for him to be fired
Hakeem could be a catalyst for us getting rid of Amare.
Melo and JR might not like Lin for the contact stuff but getting Asik and Chandler would be pretty nuts for a team that likes to iso.
It all depends what this damn team decides to do.
Asik, Melo, Chandler, Lin and Jr is alright with me.

Oh yea, that reminds me!! Forgot all about that!!
Lin should now express his disbelief that JR got THAT RIDICULOUS CONTRACT

Asik and Chandler makes no sense- Asik wants a trade away from the Rockets because he wants to be the starting C. The Rockets have Dwight- why would they want Tyson?

You mean Amare? Asik wants out and they need a big. They have the luxury to baby Amare if they need to.
As for us, everyone is begging for defense and rebounding. Stick Asik in there and problem is solved. Knicks aren't running and gunning. They are a half court team. Tyson doesn't need space. He needs someone watching his back. Melo chucking, lin chucking and jr chucking.... let's do it

I don't see the rockets wanting or taking amare unless it is a salary dump. I saw one report that said morey wants two first round picks in any asik trade.

Morey is talking out of his Asik. Wouldn't mind him in NY but not that bad.
We have no assets to get either of those players and no one is taking Amar'e. Plus trading for Lin would be absolutely humiliating for the franchise.
Keep dreaming. Dolan holds a grudge.
