41-41 might actually make the playoffs cuz the Atlantic division sucks. If Philly can trade for a young power forward, or if Brooklyn finds its game.... we're dead.
This group without any changes can't go 43-23....even if they go 33-33 that isn't going to cut it.
We are now projected to go 16-66 at the current rate we're going.
Reality is a Bitch
This is shaping up like the Giants season. Remember when people were saying the Giants just have to go 12-0 and they are in?
Except Dolab doesn't own the Giants so they can turn it around the very next year
Dolan doesn't dig us in one year holes. He digs us in decade+ long holes
43-23 would put them at 46-36.
They have to go 38-28
Well I hope they don't go 38-28 and get some fall sense of accomplishment out of getting bounced in the playoffs early again
The 99 team finished 8th but they had the talent to go deep. I don't see how this team ever gets out of the 2nd rd even if they start playing better
Which isn't happening with this roster and coach
54 wins to 20, 30?
Has there ever been a more dramatic swing between two seasons with the team retaining its biggest guns over both years?

'99 had talent during the playoff run? Like starters Charlie Football and Chris Freakin Dudley? what season were you watching?
If this team starts playing better, you can't even fathom beating Indy in the 2nd round? Was I dreaming, or did we take just them to OT with the awesome starting talent of KMart and Beno?
I'm curious to see how big an impact Tyson has when returning. If he's healthy, I think it will be pretty big but the team still won't get anywhere special.

My mind is all over the place. You are correct sir.
Hey Martin could you change the title to reflect the real numbers? Don't need my kindergarten education to ruin the thread.

Small sample sizes will reflect things like this all of the time. And technically we haven't even had Tyson for a majority of this small sample size. Overall, we fall somewhere in between where we were last season and where we currently are this season, but maybe slightly better assuming Tyson helps us to some wins. I still think with a healthy tyson all season we would have finished 45-50 wins, but him being out and the slow start will keep us to 35-45 wins and still make the playoffs.

45 wins? weve played 20% of the schedule already and were .188 do you know the statistical probability? Lets say I would not bet on it. We have to play .5 the rest of the way to get to 35 wins --what have you seen that would indicate we will win even half of our games--think about the metrics for a second were 1-7 at home. What stat would indicate to you that we are set for a reversal of that type of magnitude? The only reasonable stat you can look at is the ineptitude of the rest of the east. Thats your only saving grace.
everyone says there is a silver line - our division is so crappy- but we not only have to hope to win games- we also have to get past every other team in our division to get into first.
I thought a 500 finish was in the cards for this squad - but I never thought we'd up like this.
We are not finishing ahead of Brooklyn
It's hard to be a fan when the team fails like this in every level.
With every loss it gets worse. Management has to take control.

I'm afraid that's part of the problem - management, including ownership!
At this point we'd be lucky to go 23-43

23 wins? We can't even win one game!
