There was the legendary Larry Brown 2005-2006 Marbury Mutiny 23 win team ,Then the Isiah Thomas 2007-2008 Marbury AWOL 23 win team & now the Woodson 2013-2014 & Circus team but will they get to 23 wins and make history once more?...

The crazy thing is that we only had our pick once in those three instances. Incompetence at its best!
No way we're that bad. Unless something significantly disruptive happens, I say we climb back to over .500 by the end of the season.
we use our picks to get worse. Its not an easy task.
2005-2006 Knicks payroll $112,731,170 , 2007-2008 Knicks payroll $ 88,084,614 , 2013-2014 Knicks payroll $86,862,927 at least the team is spending less for a lottery bound team who doesn't own a draft pick lol
This thread reminds me what homers ESPN are. 37 wins! Delusional.

Excellent point. And I've never really been able to fully appreciate the genius that is Charles Barkley.
to be fair Bonn called this a mile away, down to the decimal,
and he cited losing Kidd and Novak as the game changers,
I challenged him on it and now the fruit has come to flower.
Too much to ignore

Losing Kidd is a big reason we stink, losing Novak is anything but. Novak sucks. Repeat that a couple times until it sinks in. He absolutely sucks. One of the most limited players I have ever seen on a professional team.

he sucks but the advanced stats show that he was a net positive on the hardwoods,
bonn will tell you
IWG- No statistics are going to convince me he was anything but useless last year. His first year before he made a name for himself he had value. Now he is a complete non-factor.
After he laid an egg in the all-star game 3pt contest it only further cemented this fact. When literally all you do is practice 3-pointers and you can't come close to beating all-around players it must be pretty embarrassing.
Novak is useless or was he useless in Woodson's ISO Melo/JR offense?
Because he wasn't totally useless for Dantoni

Novak always led the team in +/- don't know how, but he did
I would rather isolate Novak for 3 that Melo or JR on the right side... or on the left side for that matter. :)
Titanic sync once but Knicks are not sinking... they are stinking.
So they are more like garbage track in accident spilling sh...t across the highway.

You can't be a "game changer" if you don't consistently make a 3 with someone in your face,or in crunch time. Can't be a "game changer" if you are AWOL in the playoffs for your entire stay with a team.
As for your other point, some of us called for Kidd to be signed long before the fact, for his leadership.
