Knicks · OT: Is Blake Griffin Worth a Top 7 Pick in 2014? (page 1)

Just curious. What do you guys think?

Easily. Griffin is proven. Teams always draft busts high.

No way they trade Griffin for picks though.

1 1 Blake Griffin* PF
1 2 Hasheem Thabeet C
1 3 James Harden* SG
1 4 Tyreke Evans SG
1 5 Ricky Rubio PG
1 6 Jonny Flynn PG
1 7 Stephen Curry PG

For a team that has no cap room, yes. For a team with cap room, he's paid a little too much.

Yeah but this isn't any run-of-the-mill draft. Was checking NBADRAFT.net today and they've got Julius Randle at 5th. He should have an even better career than Griffin, IMO. Anyway, I was just wondering out of curiosity. I'd love for the Knicks to get Blake Griffin if we decided to move Melo but I don't like the idea of Griffin as a franchise player.
