can't run the pick and roll...

Rudy Gay's trade value is currently negative. Toronto gave him away for expirings and young players.
Knicks have bad contract to trade. Please see Novak's contract as exhibit A
lol WHAT?
did this dude just did this?
are you SERIOUSLY with a straight freakin face tryin to tell me that Bargnani DIDN'T have maybe the LOWEST trade value in the league at the time?
craptors fans REJOICED that they got NOTHING in return for him.
gay could shoot a cop in the middle of times square and he'd still have higher trade value than bargnani did. and they STILL didn't get a future 1st out of it.
Felton for Lowry like yesterday.
ApophisADL wrote:NardDogNation wrote:ApophisADL wrote:Im pretty sure the guys being received by Toronto can be traded immediately as long as they arent packaged together.
Vasquez for Udrih and Cash?
SOLD! I doubt the Raptors do it though. Masai is a smart dude and puts an emphasis on getting/developing young players.
Vasquez is 27 and is a RFA this summer. I doubt he is part of their future. Masai wanted to dump Gay by any means necessary.
I dont see Vasquez as being a long term starter but he'd be valuable for us since Felton sucks.
Really? It felt like the dude was drafted just yesterday. I stand corrected.
ApophisADL wrote:Felton for Lowry like yesterday.
In a heartbeat but Felton has an extra year on his contract.
I know Lowry was good. I have not seen much out of him lately and he is injury prone. That being said he is better than any PG that the Knicks have, so if they could get hi on the cheap, maybe that would be smart? Don't know much about his defense. Toronto will not do Felton for Lowry as they are not stupid.

Vasquez was kind of old for a pro-prospect. His 'limited upside' was one of the knocks against him coming out.

two extra years. Lowry is done this year. if you had a first rounder then maybe. I don't think throwing in stump would get it done either.

Doesn't Lowry have a player option though? Either way, I agree that Felton alone wouldn't get it done, even if we included Shumpert. The Raptors are really deep at the 2 spot, with Derozan and Ross who are both already better than Shumpert and stand to get better in the future.

aren't you that bald dude that didn't have the gall to stick with the knicks, so instead you went with the worst franchise in sports history, the craptors?
stump? lmfao his names SHUMPERT you narcissistic miscreant, and YOU WISH you could get him for lowry's overrated ass. he's playing like crap, and he's gonna be over-the-hill soon.
hey mods, why is it that grant hill's ugly brother is allowed to post anti-knicks stuff on here, but I get lambasted for defending pro-knicks opinions?
is this bizarro jerry world? or you guys just let older dudes slide with troll posts as long as you know them personally?

Dude its simple. We traded Novak and Camby for Bargnani.
Bargnani on his worst day is better than those 2. Camby was always injured and Novak was a one trick pony with like 3 years remaining on his deal.

i will ignore all the babble and try to address the one basketball thing you said: "lowry's overrated ass".
lowry isn't that good. he can't run the pick and roll. but instead of going on some rabid rant, you have to also look at what the OTHER team is trying to achieve. raptors are looking to tank and get some future assets and draft picks. felton provides none of that. shump might but raptors already have derozan + ross. so the knicks really don't have the assets to get lowry from ujiri. plus, do you really want to deal with ujiri again?

The Raptors realgmforum has a thread on Bargs that is 96, 97 pages long. I think the Knicks stole him. The reaction to the trade seems to be more mixed now over there. Some guys really hated him.

How much of Lowry's difficulties are caused by CAsey?
My favorite Rudy Gay moment was when he proved all those haters who claimed he was selfish, wrong!:
ApophisADL wrote:Felton for Lowry like yesterday.
A more likely deal would be Shump, Beno and Aldrich (not sure if that even works salary wise!)
I used to really like Lowry, but he's taken a step back since he got to Toronto, and his attitude is questionable.

possibly. and i think rudy there handcuffed him a bit. still not seeing a good pick and roll pg but he can attack (even tho he hasn't in a while) and hit the 3. he plays all out so he will definitely get hurt at some point.
