just bumping this thread because augustine is killing it with the bulls. over his last 5 games he's averaging 17ppg (48%shooting, 50%3fg) 6apg, 1.6to
we could have had him FOR NOTHING and instead let a smart team like the bulls take him. sigh.

For a team that's been struggling so much at PG this year, yeah, Augustine would have been worth the gamble - but why are we convinced he would have chosen us over the Bulls? I thought Augustine to Chicago was pretty much reported as soon as he was waived.
Fine's mentioned Pierre Jackson repeatedly on this forum, and I definitely would prefer to go that route.
