Is it possible that instead of replacing Woodson now or a month ago whole Tyson is still out the Knicks are waiting for his return. That way the new coach comes in and has a fair chance?
nyk4ever @ 12/10/2013 8:04 PM
no
EnySpree @ 12/10/2013 8:17 PM
I'm glad you are back guns.... you were missing for years and you have come back to us....kumbiya
SJUknicksfan @ 12/10/2013 8:52 PM
I don't understand the logic behind that.
gunsnewing @ 12/10/2013 8:54 PM
Same reason you hire a new coach during an easy stretch of games. So the new coach wins some games and fans get excited. They wont replace Woodson until Tyson is back
franco12 @ 12/10/2013 8:56 PM
I don't think they are thinking that far out or like that. I think they are simply loyal and giving him a chance based on last years performance.

I recall being 1-3 or something with Tyson. I doubt injecting him into this mess suddenly makes things bright and shiny for the return of HondaJeff or Don Nelson, Jr.

Dolan will only hire names.

Nalod @ 12/11/2013 8:58 AM
Can we do the Hologram thing like when they synched Tupac on stage, but instead do Red Holzman?
Maybe Phil Jax would not mind getting paid a few mil to have his likeness "coach" the game with the same Technology!!

For that matter, get Dancing Harry back!

The NBA needs to step in and remove Dolan from any say in the teams operations. He doesnt need his .02 interjected anymore. Go spend money on a hire level GM and go play your flute with your band. To many instances that say this man is not doing the job--he is not Marc Cuban

I don't know if the NBA can do that. That's something that has to come from within his board, which is comprised mostly of family.

Last time I checked the Dow Jones, capitalism is still King in the US of A. Stern might step in and make personnel decisions, but he's not messing with the real money.

Maybe he can just start implementing "incompetency fines" before he retires?

I believe this could be the case and have for awhile.

Makes perfect sense to me, lame duck productivity is what we are witnessing.

It's being prolonged though, the two games we won proved we can play better.

stock is up 26% ytd.

and no, league can't step in unless he violated a rule.

Fans can stop supporting the team, buying tickets. Problem is he panics, starphuchs and while an applied band-aid stops the surface bleeding, the core problem gets worse.

Best draft in years and we don't have a pick.

How is it we trade picks and get worse???? The whole point to trading picks is they are devalued by adding better players.
Melo is no eddy, but DAMN!!!! This got Isiah written all over it.
