I am with Briggs. I am interested in hearing none of the players. When guys just stand there doing nothing while guards drive in the lane, I am just not interested in what they have to say. The Knicks currently suck. Front and backcourt. What's scary is I don't see it changing that much when Tyson returns.

Bropez was unstoppable. I watched that game because my twc sucks @ss and shows the sabres over the Knicks. No one on the Celtics could do anything with him. He shot over 80%. Rebounding is known as a weakness for him but they have always surrounded him with guys that board at a great rate. Tonight it was KG and Blatche. Last year it was humpdog and Evans. You can work around that if you have a guy as unstoppable as Brook on offense. You can't build anything around amare. He is playing to prove the owner and Walsh weren't dumb@sses. I don't think he ever achieves the success necessary to prove that and for most games he is a negative on the court.

You guys are funny, you think amare is the problem because he said the team deviates from the game plan.

whats funny is other teams are saying it, our own players are saying it yet we go out there and constantly settle for jump shot after jump shot, even when were 1 for 50, we will not go to the hole. Amare is actually the only player who actually take to the whole.

Walt and breen mention our defense is the same as last year as fa as rankings. Our defense isnt the problem, it's the mind set of the players, and as always that falls directly on the coach.

5 FT attempts for the entire team, for the entire game..thats why we lost.. and thats why we keep losing

Amar'e also takes it to the hole regardless and is not effective unless he is 3 ft away. It's funny because everything he complains about he does to the nth degree. What I have like is his willingness to take charges this year.

Amar'e also takes it to the hole regardless and is not effective unless he is 3 ft away. It's funny because everything he complains about he does to the nth degree. What I have like is his willingness to take charges this year.

So on the upside, Stat suhucks as a player, except for his ability to want to now draw charges, because he probably knows you need hops to block NBA shots. See Charles Oakley.

My God with the defending of Amare. He is the root cause of why we are so friggin bad. We pay 20 mil for a corpse. He never boxes out and is a horrendous 1 on 1 defender. People love this guy though for some unknown reason so he can deflect blame and people will go ohhhh must be Melo's fault. However, Melo was the only guy who even gave an effort last night. His act is growing tired. How many put backs did his man have in the last 2 games? Guy could care less though. Everybody has his back. They'd at least be mediocre if they had 20 mil to spend on other players. People lumping Melo in with him from a contract perspective,which is on other boards here, are completely insane.

News flash...we get blown out weather amare plays or not, the fact that you guys keep pinning our defense on a guy who is avg 15 mins a game is narrow minded..

yeah I do have love for amare and I know he's clueless on defense for the most part, but to say he is the main reason we're losing is about as dumb as a statement I ever heard..

Pay attention to the game, teams have played zone against us forcing us to shoot hella jump shots no guard penetration, no spacing and more iso's then anyone could ever imagine..

I could give a dozen reasons for this teams epic failures starting and ending with the coach

At least Amar'e showed up the last two games. He isnt the one making the other guys not even bother showing up.

Amare's giving them 20 mil less to work with so you must not be aware the league is capped. Overall they have been better off with him not on floor, so basically they get 20 mil less to work with than every other team in the league. I guess technically it is Knicks management's fault for signing the back deal but it is his none the less.

I watch the games (thanks for checking). I agree, on a nightly basis, teams are packing it in against us and daring us to make a shot. It's kind of ridiculous that they don't have anybody in the backcourt that can at least knock down a few open shots with regularity to keep the defense honest. Probably could have gotten a few guys to address that problem with flexibility to sign a player capable of doing that (ohhh yea...Amare's contract).

Outside of Amare, for once perhaps we can sell high on a player. The ceiling the were projecting for Shump was absurd, not as bad as Fields, but still ridiculous. At some point the Knicks need to be realistic when assessing these guys.

Not sure what SHAT is talking about. They stuck to the plan. Get open jumpers, brick or airball them. Ensure that defenders play way off our guards. Shoot under 25% (when facoring out Melo) from the floor as a team in the 1st Quarter. "Let's do it!" (Woodson Voice).

We need to hear from other players outside of them like Pablo (who wants the team to play the right way) or Kmart or Chandler who won something.

That's when you will hear and know what the other side of the locker room is really thinking.
