If no moves are made--we really have no way of acquiring anyone accept with the use of cash.

If Jahii Carson is available sometime after 20(which I doubt) my hope is the Knicks can convince a team to trade a future 1 for him with cash.

He is exactly what the team needs a PG who can jet up and down the floor explode into gaps attacking dribble attacks the rim creates spacing plays solid on ball defense hits the J This is a unique player who is a version of what you see with Isiiah Thomas in Sacremento--but faster and more athletic.

I hope they take a look at Scottie Wilbekin as a FA or second round pick because he versed in PnR offense, shoots great as a spot up shooter, getting better as a pnr shooter, and plays great man D and help D. IMHO, he is a better shooting Avery Bradley and probably will be a better pure pg. Also, although he is 4 yr player he enter college a year earlier because he skipped his entire senior year of H.S.

Can't continue to draft backups. Very athletic but when said and done he is a Nate clone and Nate is not a starter.

who are our backups now? Our bench is terrible. I disagree with your sentiment. We need talented player, even if the skill set seems one dimensional.

Nate Robinson would be a godsend on this team. At least he can get in the paint and make a play.

Thanks for the heads up Briggs. Kid looks good on tape, alas, we currently have no draft picks in the'14 draft. We can only wait to see how things turn out, but my hopes are low.

Fish I know the obvious. But if you are trying to get better don't you want someone who will be a starter and possibly a all-star. Last I looked most players that are 5'10'' are defensive liabilities Nate is no different.

Vmart--this guy might be 5-10 but hes special. I liked Nate Robinson--but hes much better than Nate. Hes a couple of inches taller and has much better body and dribble control(hes much more of a true PG). Nate never played as well as Jahii when he was at Wahington Jahii is a pg version of Dwayne Wade with Ty Lawson speed. We need his skill sets--speed an attacking dribble a space creator a one man fast break. He ll be special in the NBA not guardable. Jahii is a top 25 pick at worst wed have to acquire a pick 17 -25 hes not going lower.

Another really good short fast PG prospect is Chaz Williams from Umass hes not on draft boards but hes a talented NBA skill player. Shabazz Napier is a good player too. I think we need to upgrade PG BADLY. Its too hard to do so with our assets--we must be proactive in the draft. Im big on Jahii and next year you will see why. If he is not obtainable--there are secondary players who I just mentioned who will upgrade back up PG.

think about how good some of our non starters would look on this current roster, Nate, Chandler, Fields, Channing Frye, Jordan... Vmart I totally hear you, but I disagree the problem is we dont draft top tier talent, we dont draft ANY. If the Knicks simply commited to the philosophy of drafting players they can develop we would be in good shape. Instead we trade pics and have to overpay for mediocre role players who are not tradable because nobody wants overpaid role players.
