I think foul faced Beno, sulky Shump and prickly MWP are part of the reason team chemistry is poor

If somehow they can take Felton and JR off our hands I am willing to give up anything
THJ and/or Shumpert and 1st in 2018 & 2020
not till after the season...though a bigger deal including Jr does seem to make sense. They are not exactly a destination team and have trouble aquiring FA's other then in trade. I would gladly take Hansbrough off their hands if they expand the deal. Used to hate that guy, but he has grown on me. We need a dirty work player who doesn't need the ball.
I don't think looking at his defensive stats in Toronto will help. Maybe his Houston stats

That's what I'd like to know- he used to be known as a defensive PG, no idea if he still is
His opponent's PER is pretty low and his on/off +/- is pretty good. But Yellowboy usually posts the stats of the opponent's FG% from different locations on the floor.
Lowry's offensive stats are pretty good. I'd rather have him than anyone on this roster.
Howard beck reporting that they're not interested in Shump and likely wouldn't be included. Says Knicks plan on keeping him for now.
Also lakers interested and desperate for a PG- Blake is out for 6 weeks. I think they're more likely to land Lowry
where's Enyspree lol This deal should make him happy. Lowry was a dogged man to man defender with Houston. Not sure if he kept it up with Toronto, but he's capable. He has also improved his three-point shot. Toronto isn't looking to take on more salary and we have no picks. Is THJ on the table? I heard that Derozan might be in play, so it would make sense if the Raps want cheap talent on the wings.
You think Toronto takes an injured Felton and Shumpert. They are going to need a pg back
Maybe a 3 teamer with the lakers involved
Lakers in just as bad shape with draft picks. They don't really have the pieces for a trade either. Think we need to be patient on this one and wait for them to come back to us
Mills first trade. Hopefully he has some cajones

I don't think Shump for Faried is completely dead
I'm intrigued. For those interested here are some advanced stats on Lowry this season:
TS% 56.3% - Would be 4th highest behind Prig, Tyson, THJR
eFG% 51.3% - Would be 5th highest behind Prig, Tyson, THJR, and Amare
AST% 30.7% - Highest on team
TOV% 15.6% - Middle of the pack, nearly the same as Felton's
USG% 18.9% - Middle of the pack, nearly the same as Felton's
ORtg 115 - 4th highest behind Prig, Tyson, and THJR
DRtg 106 - 4th lowest behind Aldrich, Tyson, and Kenyon; tied with Metta and Prig
OWS 1.7 - 2nd highest behind Melo
DWS 0.6 - Highest tied with Melo
WS 2.4 - 2nd highest behind Melo
WS/48 0.156 - 2nd highest behind Tyson
I dunno about this at all. Just screams out 'lateral move.' Just the thought of losing anymore picks and/or adding more salary, depending on the scope of this deal, makes my skin crawl. And to make this move w/o even giving the kid Murry any kind of a chance at all to see if he could help first is just straight up dumb. Then there's the FACTOID that there are a good 3-4 solid FA PGs we could pick up right now FOR NOTHING that would be just as good as Lowry, more exciting and BETTER probably. I just can't comprehend how we go about our business at all.

Who are these free agents that are better than Lowry? And Lowry is in the last year of his contract so we wouldn't be adding salary past this season.
Yea Lowry might play very well here but it is a lateral move that will dig us in an even deeper hole asset wise
What is Lowry's contract?

Y! Sources: As Toronto widens talks on Kyle Lowry, Knicks inclined to add 2018 first-round pick to get a deal done. http://yhoo.it/JjDdvi
How long until we give in and give him everything he wants this time?

I don't believe there are many, if any, PG free agents or D-leaguers out there better than Lowry. But I can see why you're squeamish, given this team's history. Lowry isn't going to want a two-year deal to re-sign if we get him.

2018? I might not even be alive then. Let's get it done lol (and the cycle continues)
