Sure they do, but most other teams change a play when they keep coming up short over and over again. If the play was just to free Melo up for a good look I could live with that, but all it is ,almost every time, is inbound the ball to Melo, no screens, no nothing. Doesn't matter if he's doubled. I have a real problem with that and I know I'm not alone.

Set play as far as dumping the ball to Melo without any misdirection, or plan b or c.

Re-clarified my feeling above.....AWFUL PLAY, bottom line. Can't get behind that last play at all. Brain fart on Melo 1000000%. This loss is on him -- ashame because he played his heart out as usual -- but in the end he had tunnel vision and lost focus. Beno, Woody, whoever ---- nobody's yelling timeout there??? WTF!!!!??!!!!? WOW..

Why didn't Woodson call it?

That was a dumb decision. The Wiz are very quick and athletic. No way they sneak them with Melo!

I doubt there was a set play. Melo was WALKING the ball up the court. I don't even think Woody is that dumb for the play to be for melo to walk the ball up the court with 7 seconds left.

Exactly....Melo wasn't calling no "play" there at all....LOL....He was frustrated, looked like Beno was yappin' about not getting any help after Beal just whipped right by his geriatric ass for the game winner -- then Melo, frustrated, basically motioned and said -- inbound me the ball -- the rest was history. Brain fart on Melo. My thing is someone's gotta help him and call timeout there.....Even Beno --- you're the PG fella, the general, the QB...AND a veteran...Beno doesn't call a timeout there and restore clarity???? WTF????

That's a great idea. Blame Melo! So played out. Clearly the play wasn't run since half the team never crossed half court. I actually hope Melo throws one of those losers under the bus.

I blame Woodson way more than I blame Melo. Melo played well and made a terrible decision last play, but Woodson is the one that cost us this game.

I dunno what they were trying to run but that couldn't have been it. Once they weren't running anything Woody needed to call timeout. That was awful!

Now this is true. Beno should NOT have been in there in the defensive sequence
