If we rebuild or begin to retool, I'd love it if we targeted Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik in a package deal. Lin would add the flash, while Asik would add the substance moving forward. Both guys won't necessarily change our stars but they are good enough to be good foundation pieces as we'd transition to the next stage of building our team from top to bottom (or rather, bottom to top), as was the case in Houston.

I've noticed many fans dont wnat to rebuild because that would mean a couple of bad seasons. However we are allready having a terrible seasons with this group. id rather have a couple of bad seasons but develop good young talent and then add some players when we have cap space

I was one of those fans averse to a complete rebuild but have come around. Like you said, we suck and even though we'll get better once Tyson comes back, the idea of relying that heavily on two players (Melo and Tyson) to win games is a bad recipe for success. We need to blow this up and see if we can get someone to give up a lottery pick good enough to have a shot at drafting Jabari Parker (I'm looking at you Cleveland and Milwaukee!). I much rather suck and cultivate talent while building a team in a more traditional manner, than try to continue building with limited assets around a guy that probably won't be here come 2015.
