If chris smith gets a shot over murry, I want him to quit the team, and do an ESPN EXCLUSIVE with broussard or Stephen A and spill all team secrets.

Just freakin unbelievable! I mean the way it happened was even worse than Tyson breaking his leg. Tyson's didn't look anywhere near bad enough to have broken his leg and neither did Prigs. How many times do you stub your toe and not break it? Just unfreakingbelievable how bad things go for this franchise. If there's a way to suck this team will find it.
Now after not playing Murry all season it's gonna be harder for the kid to feel comfortable. I've been saying all year that Woody should give him some real minutes to get a feel. If he wasn't really happy with Beno early, he could've slid the kid in a bit every game just to get his feet wet and shake any nerves. Then just increase his minutes gradually. Now the kid has almost no experience to go on.

It's not about playing Draft picksand developing players right now. It's more about the fact that Felton sucks, Priggy is old and Beno isn't even being given a chance....
Toure Murry is supposed to be this good defender. The guy can finish too. We need to see if he can do it to help the team. All the bullshit about the past doesn't apply here. We have guys in the wing that deserve a chance to see if they can do better. Cole Aldrich is in the same boat. Dude can't get off the bench and we are missing kmart and tyson with amare out every other game
Whether the Knicks rotate or not on the last defensive possession, why not play Murry there to guard Beal?
I'm sure he could've just as easily passed the ball to Melo for a fading 3 on the elbow over 2 defenders.

I wish people would stop asking for Murry. You know the Knicks get pleasure from torturing their fan base. So if you ask for something there is a very good chance you won't get it. People wanted Lin back didn't get that. People wanted a second superstar to pair with Ewing in his prime didn't get that either.
Lin tore up the dleague and when he played for us in limited mins it was clear he was our best pg. Light years ahead of Toney Douglas. Murray hasn't done anything yet not even in garbage time. He might be forced to play now and if the Knicks still suck maybe People will finally give up on the idea that this team as presently constituted can be saved

If we had protected our draft pick this summer, this all would be a blessing in disguise. Too bad we have no foresight in our mgmt.

Woody is gonna treat him like he did Copeland last year. Make him wait and then throw him in latter in the year when he won't be mentally ready to perform on this level with the playoffs at stake.

Lin only started to play well in the nba the first game of Linsanity. It seems like you forgot that he was close to be getting cut. Players tearing it up would not be close to getting cut. Please let us not try to change history.

For instance people did not like Tim when he was drafted because his shot selection was bad on the scouting reports. His shot selection is bad but it is not as bad as advertised now because he is getting wide open shots off doubles from players like melo.
Murry in garbage time will not be getting easier shots because people will not be doubled. No one will be doubling Cole. If he played with Melo the kind of shots he would get would be easier. He would be in a more advantageous position to take advantage of defensive rotations.

You are correct, they did say he played well in practice. Gun said he played well in limited(garbage) time and that was totally inaccurate.
His first meaningful minutes Knicks-Rockets before Linsanity. He got us a big lead. Dantoni went back to Toney Douglas, didn't feel Lin was ready for a 4th quarter. Knicks got blown out. And all the minutes he got in garbage time where he penetrated at will but most people were convinced it was GARBAGE TIME. There were quite a few of us here calling for Lin to get a chance after he lite up the dleague. Go back and look. Not changing history in no way. I like to deal in reality
