Knicks · Carmelo logging 43.5 minutes (page 1)

at 30 years old---hes going to get it next.

LBJ is avg 35 and never avg 43.5 in his career.

This team is a disaster area and will implode much harder once the run Carmelo into the ground. We did it to Amare and now Carmelo

StarksEwing1 @ 12/21/2013 2:42 PM
we should do both melo and ourselves a fvaor and trade him. he can go to a better team and we can get some nice assets for a better/quicker rebuild

Keep Melo and play him reasonable time - create a sensible environment where he or any good player would want to stay - What would San Antonio do?
MSG3 @ 12/21/2013 2:57 PM
What will likely happen is that he'll maintain that minutes average, stay healthy this season, take max money from us and get hurt next year along with every other year he's under contract.
MSG3 @ 12/21/2013 2:58 PM
I fucking hate this team.

Fire Woodson.... plain and simple. Melo is killing himself to get his points under super pressure every night. Any other coach would run him off screens and make everyone else work and keep Melo fresh for the 4th. Pathetic ass coach.

Sounds like a good solution.

YUP!!! This guy is such a fraud. He lived off the luck of the team going 18-6 and then last year it wasn't even Woody but Kidd that was the reason for the team playing the style they ended up playing last year. As soon as Woody took over and started going back to his ISO heavy style in the playoffs last year things went south. Now this year he has completely abandoned the ball movement and is KILLING Melo with tons of minutes and all tough possessions.

Papabear Says

I agree and Melo is the best player on the team and these guys know we are not good with draft picks or trades. Keeping Melo gives us a better chance of getting some one to come to New York. Right now we stink. We can't drive to the basket. I also think If Shumps head is all messed up because of the rumors he will never make it in the NBA.
