Knicks · Jeremy Tyler has 34 rebounds in his last two games (page 1)

Can the Knicks please get rid of Chris and address a deficit? Some other team will sign Tyler. He has too much potential and will be noticed.

I'd rather play Tyler, Hardaway and Murry big minutes than the vets we're currently leaning on- the young guys would make mistakes but at least they'd bring energy and passion. Our vets make mistakes but play lazy.

CrushAlot @ 12/22/2013 3:15 PM
Memphis out rebounded the Knicks 56-29 yesterday. Tyler is beasting on the boards. Last I heard he wasn't being brought up because he was slow in progressing after his injury. 16 and 18 boards on back to back nights seems to indicate he is progressing just fine.

+1000000

The guys would improve their play and eventually produce better than the overpaid vets. There's something to be said for being HUNGRY for more. The vets just mail it in, cuz their cheddah is already in the bank/brokerage.

I can't remember the last time I've felt so disconnected from a Knicks team

I don't know what is it this year... Maybe the fact that last season was so good, but... To me, I think I feel worse about this team than I did during the Layden and Isiah years.

This year is like a huge slap in the face that no matter how much talent we get, we always seem to become a dysfunctional embarrassment of great proportions.

The promise of a better future kept me going during those dark ages, but this year has really made me consider calling it quits on being a fan of this pathetic franchise. There are simply too many clowns to expect any kind of real improvement.

Its not completely his fault, but I really can't wait for the Melo Era to end. It should end soon.

How ironic that only Tim Jr. and Toure Murry make me care at least 0.1%...

Yep- does anyone actually plan on watching these losers embarrass themselves on Christmas Day?

earthmansurfer @ 12/22/2013 4:55 PM
Wow, the last thing Dolan wants is a Ray of Hope on this team. I mean it is enough that Tim Jr is playing great and does more for team chemistry and brains that JR Smith.

This is scenario where one man holds a lot of people hostage--he wants to let you know he was right or if hes not right that he went the right path for you anyway.

Sadly I'm gonna go ahead and third this. Spot on how I feel.

I can't say I feel just as bad as the Layden era, but it's really bad. I would LOVE to see a kid like Tyler get a shot here. He plays like he wants it. He may be a bit wild at times and over does it, but that would be a welcome change on this roster. We need high energy players.
BRIGGS @ 12/23/2013 3:27 AM
Bring back Ike Diogu and Jeremy Tyler
Release Smith and Alrdich
Put Shump in D league to regain his form

I have never been this disconnected. When Marb's and those guys were here I still enjoyed watching. I knew there would be trades, and coaching changes. The talent didn't mesh yet the guys played hard. A enjoyed watching some of the individual guys. It was entertaining. You could all cheer for them.

Now there is nothing fun going on out there. We have Tim Hardaway jr and the hours that Toure Meu had a big game. Jeremy Tyler isn't on the team and I feel more attached to him than any body in the roster outside of Thjr and Murry

I am in the same boat. But I am hoping they get blown out Christmas day so maybe at some point, Dolan will wake up and make some kind of change to start to fix things.
foosballnick @ 12/23/2013 9:04 AM
Fans want to see young or new guys in games/on the roster because it gives us some hope of change or in the future. If remains mind boggling (even for a Dolan team) that Knicks chose to bring up Smith (and keep him on the roster) over filling other desperate needs. Only thing I can think of is that CAA is actually making personnel decisions for the Knicks at this point.
sealy @ 12/23/2013 9:36 AM
So can Tyler be had by any team? That would be icing on the cake for this failure.
