Young balanced and good inside--just beat Dallas and OKC b-b on road.
They don't seem to miss Bargnani!
And they're being led by Kyle Lowry
since the rudy deal, we are 5-2. wins @lakers, philly, @chicago, @dallas and @okc.
we got whooped at home by the spurs. we play them in san antonio tonight (i expect a big loss but if we keep it close, i will be very impresseD). and we lost a buzzer shot to the bobcats.
we are a work in progress and it's still one game at a time for us.
with that said, once we removed rudy, we are moving the ball like we never have, we play with a lot of effort and defense. down double digits on the road to okc and winning was eyebrow raising.
lowry is playing like a leader and a beast. this is the guy we traded for and hope he keeps it up.
the most underrated player in the league is amir johnson. the guy is a top flight PF that nobody talks about. he does the job on both ends and i hope he is a raptor for the rest of his career.
alot of season left but we have a team that a superstar can step into and take really far. colangelo's mistake was thinking rudy was that superstar. obviously ujiri's biggest challenge will be to get that superstar to toronto but we have a good talent base. and we have our picks (and some of yours) and cap space coming up after next season.
if they need a superstar, lets send them Melo!
I thought they were trying to lose?

i think the *objective* was trying to get a good lottery pick but ujiri was not going to completely tear everything down right away. he saw rudy causing major chemistry issues and was devaluing our assets. but we have talent and we play hard. yes nalod...WE :)
we'll see what ujiri is going to do. tanking is not the only way to become really good. paul george was drafted 10th.

It seems like every team that wanted to tank is doing pretty good this season! Biggest surprise by far is the Suns
they looked good during the preseason (for those of you that think preseason doesn't matter)
We looked horrible during preseason
They have a slightly positive point differential for the season, which usually would indicate a team that is playing at slightly above .500 level over the long-term. If they were to finish at around 42-40, they'd be one of the best teams in the east!

Wait, you mean you are actually playing better moving a ball hog who kills team play
And a great PG will make a ball moving team better. On ball hog teams, I hear they don't make much of a difference. Often get traded away and you don't know what you have till it's gone.

Grant Hill out of retirement, signs with the Craptors!
Dude, what position are you playing in Toronto?
