Look at the revenue and income. Winning means something. Dolan's wallet took a hit during those lean lean years of the mid 2000s

Arena attendance seemed like a blip, but I remember you couldn't ever watch a game on anything but the MSG channel: TNT, ESPN & whoever the national OTA channel was at the time (ABC?) were not scheduling the Knicks when they were in the dumps. And when they would get on TV, they would stink it up:

This Christmas game is going to be very interesting: Thunder (22-5!!!) at the Garden on ABC. We all know what the pre-game storyline will be: a study in compare and contrast.

We better show up on Christmas. If not, oh boy...

Fish mike - here is a frightening number, from your link, that should shock the sh#t out of any Knicks fan who thinks that the Dolan's are giving up their asset anytime in the near future

Forbes Lists

#1 NBA Team Valuations

Number one.

We maybe now you can at 7-18

Yup go on Stubhub or another secondary site prior to game time. You can easily get into the Garden for $40 and have nice seats to boo these bums live.

oh trust me I know. Its why people here who think this thing should be blown up are no reality based. Making the playoffs and even advancing a round has such a huge financial impact on the franchise, there is no way no how this gets blown up. Tweeked, yes... but not blown up.

That being said you can see the years of heavly losing did take a hit on the revenue

Less butts in the seats means less jersey, beer and concession sales. Makes sense

Cool. That's a pretty blood bargain to go there and boo. I gotta look into it
