Knicks · Phx/NY trade idea (page 1)

Isola implied on twitter Dragic was available. Would you do

Bargs, Felton, Shump, and Aldridge for Dragic and Emeka?

Emeka hasnt played this season but is an expiring. Dragic is a solid PG. Phx finally gets Shumpert to pair with Bledsoe. They get an offensive guy who fits their system in Bargs. We clear up a glut and start Hardaway.

Chandler
Martin
Anthony
Hardaway
Dragic

Smith Amare Tyler(signed) Pablo off the bench

Before the season started, that was a realistic trade, but the Suns are playing so well it makes no sense to trade Dragic now. Suns have even said they are now focused on trying to get a star player via a trade with their picks- they've leap frogged the rebuilding tanking phase- they are in great shape. I still don't get how they are winning so much with that roster!

If you were Phoenix exactly why wouldnt you hang up the phone less than 1 second after you heard that proposal---you give me sht for my all star PG? Phoenix is 17-10 why would they trade him even in a good package? They have a great backcourt maybe the best in the NBA.

They get one player in that deal and that's chandler. You could get him for Emeka, but why would they tinker right now unless they are really upgrading their team with youth. Shumpert is lost and barely a rotation player right now.

The Clippers really screwed up letting bledsoe go, they would have actually had a shot at the title if they played him with paul. We really should have went hard with Chandler, Felton, Shumpert and a 1st rounder to try to get Bledsoe and Jordan when they were available. They overvalue Dudley and Reddick I think we could have made something happen.

Dragic's killing it. No way this happens.
alwaysaknick @ 12/25/2013 5:32 AM
It's hard to imagine Dragic in Knicks uniform

Dude, you wouldn't "give away" Bargs? The only positive contribution he makes is scoring 14 points on 13 shots per game and that ain't all that positive. He's a terrible rebounder; a terrible passer; an atrocious help defender, worse even than David Lee and Amare; he can't draw fouls; he can't shoot threes; and he doesn't space the floor because he can only shoot straight away shots from about 20 feet from the hoop so whoever's guarding him is always in awesome position to provide help defense in the lane.

If any team offers anything of value to take Bargnani off our hands we should be tripping over ourselves trying to complete the deal.

You know what gets me with this forum. Just about all of the posters are ready to give away all of our players for nothing and think we are gonna rebuild. When have the Knicks ever rebuilt? Never !! We throw our young draft picks under the bus. If more than half of you saw a chance for Melo to walk for nothing you would be glad and happy. Some of you are just like management of the Knicks I don't mean you bro. I'm just using you post to throw it out there.

Bonn1997 @ 12/26/2013 11:00 PM
Who? No one here thinks Dolan is going to do an OKC-style draft rebuild. Many want that but I don't remember anyone predicting that it would happen.
