Any other team would have done something by now.... the only move we did was call up Chris Smith.

The best thing to do is let them do what they do. Stay the course. This team isn't winning a championship so why worry about what they do. For a week of playoffs. Makes no sense to do anything. Wait for the season to end and start the overhaul. Next years team should look 80% different. If they comeback with the same roster then they don't give a crap and we shouldn't either.

Yes this season is a waste. It never had that Championship feel or even a deep playoff run feel. Everything leading up to the season felt so wrong. Last year even though they lost Lin you felt good about having Kidd. This year they never replaced him. The Grunwald firing. The Chris Smith and Jr Smith joke. Shumpert who I thought would break out and finding out all those secret surgeries the Knicks players had.
Finding out how poor a coach Woodson is in the playoffs all these things add up to a bad feeling. Doing anything now would be a mistake. Lets find out what Melos plan is first and once his decision is made start the overhaul. I realize any move made now can actually hurt the NYK future more than help. Build with a plan.
Knicks are too far gone to make a big improvement without further mortgaging the future.

I don't think this season could be saved and it's not always about the big move to get us to the championship. If they are going to put this season to bed at least start preparing for the off season now.... Melo is going to be gone. We need to prepare the team for that. Not prepare to beg him to stay but prepare the team to be rebuilt with our without him.
We need to see if Toure Murry can be something. We need to see if Jeremy Tyler could be something.
Every single player in the roster should be traded except Tim Hardaway Jr. The locker room is done and the coaching staff is done. It needs to be a complete overhaul.
I truly believe if they cleaned house and kept the cap clean and truly rebuild I have no doubt everyone will be on board. This franchise needs this not starphuching every 5
