Tim Hardaway Jr is viewing his rookie season through the gate of Hell.

Before entering Hell completely, Tim, and his running buddy Toure, see the Uncommitted, souls of the Knicks roster who on the court did nothing for the good of the team, neither on offense nor defense; among these Tim recognizes either Pope Carmelo Anthony or Pontius JR Smith (their skills are ambiguous).

Mixed with them are outcasts who played no part in the roster of last year. These souls are neither in Hell nor out of it, but reside on the bench, their punishment to eternally pursue a championship banner (i.e. self interest) while pursued by wasps and hornets in the NY media that continually sting them as frustrated fans bleat displeasure and court side celebrities drink their white wine.

This symbolizes the sting of selfish play and the repugnance of over dribbling. This can also be seen as a reflection of the spiritual stagnation they lived in, as the byproduct of not playing team defense. As with the Purgatorio and Paradiso, the Knicks Inferno was created the moment the franchise violated the creed of "best five play" by signing Chris Smith, and with the firing of Glen Grunwald, for no reason other than his displeasure with the franchise violation of the basketball creed.

The "vestibule" of Madison Square Garen is no different in nature from the nine circles of Hell. Fans purchase tickets and wait in line for merchandise, with only 10 hours separating them from another loss in Toronto tonight.

The ship be sinking .

IM sure at some point during camp Melo and JR realized that the vacuum of leadership left from last years team and now would lie on their shoulders. They were the now the leaders of the team.

Cue up the "Dramatics"...........

"What you see is what you get"......

Totally agree. I don't think anyone expected Grunwald's firing. I think he brought a lot of stability to the organization and Woodson knew he had his back. Once he was gone Woodson was told who he could play, how many minutes he could play guys and who was going to be on his team. I thought Chris might make the team. His deal was set up so that if he was on an nba roster for one day his contract would be guaranteed. I thought he would get a couple of weeks and then Tyler would be brought up.

CrushALot - the chaos of rationing Amare Stoudemire's minutes had upper management written all over it. No sane coach, attempting to establish continuity, would platoon an essential rotation player, especially in an area of need. Rebounding is one of the Knicks weakest areas. Why would a fragile Amare be deployed in such a way?

It does not make basketball sense.

You are either healthy enough to play, or you are not.
